Is it ok to translate a whole top ranked site from english to my native language?
In essence,I don't infringement copyright, because I don't copy and paste, just translating and adapting to my native language spirit.
That site can not feel any damage though.I am not their competitor and this can benefits my audience, because they will get useful and checked informations.
Off course, the design will be changed.

Doesn't matter. You're still stealing their work. What you're suggesting is unethical. How would you feel if someone came along and ripped off your site (and all your hard work)?

    Collete is right (again)...

By the way, this is a "Copywriting" forum, not a "copyrighting" forum... Your post is completely off topic, but yes, stealing someone's content, even if you translate it, IS illegal.

      Theft is theft.

It doesn't matter what the language is. You take someone's work that they've created, something they've put lot's of time and money into and copy it.

Your going to be in a very big legal nightmare.

        Let me be clear.
I don't suggest to anyone to do that.
        I didn't do that.
I just asked a question wanting to hear your opinion.

Well, considering what you said,I am asking you:
How do you use internet resource to help you copywriting?
How to define boundary, what is legal use of others resource and what is not?

          You are a little confused...

This is a "copywriting" forum... We are writers who create advertising copy designed to sell products, we aren't lawyers or "copyrighters"... We aren't experts on fair use laws and things like that.

As far as "fair use" of content, the people who create the content generally own the "copyright" and the legal ownership of said content.

Again, we're not lawyers... This is a forum of people who write advertising copy.

To be on the safe side, if you didn't create the content, or purchase the rights to it from a reliable source, it's probably a good idea not to use it.

          I'm calling B.S.

You asked if it was ok to translate a whole site from English into your native language. You said the design would be changed. You stated your intent to offer YOUR readers SOMEONE ELSE'S "useful and checked" information.

Let me be clear: If you are translating their words into any other language and posting those words on your site as yours - you are stealing. Stealing is unethical. Stealing is illegal.

The boundaries have been defined for you in the responses you've already received. Your intent was clear. The responses are equally clear.

If you lack the writing skills to create your own content/copy, there are other options open to you.

You can find thousands of articles and blog posts which contain useful content. Most article writers and bloggers are happy to have you post their content - with permission and attribution (they get credit as the writer and a backlink).

Or, you can hire a writer to crank out content for you. There are dozens of articles writers right here in the WF. I'd bet there's a WSO for content posted right now.

You obviously don't want to do either of those things. You want to take someone else's work and claim it as your own.

    Let me be clearer.

We know what your intention was. Then you have the audacity to ask more questions.

    Don't think so,

I don't see the big reason why someone of you are so offensive.
I have to admit that my first post in this thread was like that you concluded that I am really going to do this. That's my mistake.
If I really intended to do that ,I shouldn't came here and ask you, already I would do it.
It's better to ask something if you are not sure instead doing something wrong.
I really respect somebody's time and effort.
I got an idea, came here and asked you. That's all.
      Stay in peace.
