75 yeas!! Can you believe it? I can't help myself mentioning the famous 1984 Apple Macintosh TV ad. More than 30 years later it's still sharp. Great reminder. Cheers!

    This is awesome.

Surprisingly the ad copy wasn't bad either.

    "America Runs on Bulova Time"

For a 10 second spot that used social proof as well as established authority in the market.

This gives "ahead of time" a completely new meaning. Just imagine, there's a new thing called TV. You're about to explore it. Yet, some "marketer" already had an idea. Let's use this new media for advertising. Have to Google to see who's the brainiac behind this ad.

Why bother to invent something when you can use something that's proven to work?

Plus, the fault lies with the marketing company they hired: Dunkin' Donuts Launches New Advertising Campaign "America Runs on Dunkin'(SM)" | Dunkin' Donuts.

And, on the radio, they say: America runs on Dunkin and applicable taxes. I don't like taxes, I'm not buying them even if America runs on them.
