The single piece of advice for all new copywriters.

The train gently picks up the pace.

Olivia races to catch it.

In the midst of haste, she turns around, gasps for air, and asks me "What's the single piece of advice you would give to all the new copywriters?"

At such an instant moment, my advice would go like this: "Once your headline hits your prospect's overriding need, the rest of your copy must amplify or magnify that need. That's it. However, make sure you do not REPEAT YOURSELF in a frenzy to intensify that need. Because if you do that Olivia, your prospect is gone!"

This advice is inspired by the book "Breakthrough Advertising" written by Eugene Schwartz.

BellaZee, that's brilliant! You have highlighted a great point here. The most common reason why launches fail is because vendors are so much in love with their product that they can't see it with their customer's eye. In advertising world, it's called "Client's disease."

There has to be some kinda meditation - through which we detach and land ourselves into the shoes of our audience, and evaluate our own product. It's vital. It's deciding.

      Thanks. Cheers! Junaid.
