101 Resources for Great Copywriting?

So this morning, I came across

http://www.business2community.com/co...-copy-01641497

which will be TOTALLY useless to you unless you actually take note of the goodness shared!

Do you have Feedly at feedly. Read more, know more. ? If so, create these categories:

Copywriting
Inspiration
Technical

and when you go thru all 101 resources, see if they have feeds you can add to the above categories.

That way, you'll be building up a done-for-you copywriting authority dashboard....

... where you can keep track on all the latest writing resources released.

Good stuff!

    Good stuff INDEED. BUT...

And, of course, obviously and it goes without saying...just MY opinion...

It is one more DISTRACTION for the already ADD/ADHD butterfly, shiny unicorn chasing befuddled copywriter who visits here.

I did bookmark it, and feedly is great too, and like Reddit, or Google, Yahoo alerts, it too can be a distraction.

Barb, you have recently given the forum and marketers here a tremendous gift, when you ran your dime sale for the one page of links and it brought in around 4k bux in less than 30 days (please correct me if I'm wrong).

In other words, you made more money than most copywriters on this forum, by selling a one page piece of virtual paper while they wanted to know how to find work or how to make money.

I thank you for that, I learned even more about creating and selling simple information than I already knew, old dogs and new tricks, yea!

Now, my opinion is MOST wannabee copy WRITERS don't write enough.

They should write to sell something. WRITE a promotion for a simple product.
WRITE a sales letter for anything.
WRITE a piece which has the intent of provoking action.

YES, learn, study, even visualize and thinking is a part of it all,

WRITING with intent, a call to action is where one finds out IF they can write copy or not.

I appreciate your efforts, and you have provided a template by your actions the last 2 months, that most WF visitors could profit from...

    they won't...

because they are researching, reading, getting alerts, watching kittens and asking us to do the work they have been paid to do...and too many bemoan their facts (personal, not an universal fact)

of not being able to get work, when, they should be writing.

If one applies the 80/20 "rule" to copywriting, the 80 should be THE WRITING.

But very good resources despite my grouchy old opinions nonetheless. Thanks.

For those who didn't buy the cheat sheet, here's how the promotion was set up...

      1. "Dime sale" that topped out at $3.77.
      2. Redirected to a one time offer after the sale... $10.47 (I didn't buy it, so there may have been additional OTOs.)
      3. Sold display ads and affiliate products on the download page
      4. The promotion was affiliate-driven and sold on the Warrior Plus platform.
      5. And email address added to an autoresponder.

So if you think you're going to create a one-page cheat sheet and make $4K... not likely. But if you're willing to put in the work and create a similar promotion, it's doable.

BTW, this monetization strategy is quite common in IM circles.
