What's Your Number #1 Reason Not To Write For a Content Mill?

Content mills have some up and down sides. One of the main down sides is actually too obvious to mention, but anyway, the payout is pretty low compared to working for agencies and directly for clients.

Now let's take the pay rates aside, what else is holding you back to write for a content mill like iWriter, HireWriters, Textbroker, WriterAccess and so forth?

Why do you think anything is "holding us back" here? There are still, albeit quiet, copywriters who don't have the NEED to use content mills because we don't write content, we write copy.

Content writers are like the guys who wash the cars at the dealership, while copy writers are like the salesman. And if they can sell, then they get poached...by other dealers.

Copywriters who can sell stuff, have a magnetic appeal about them, and don't have the need for any of those sites.

Thanks for allowing some talk about COPYWRITING since this has been taken over by the content car washers.

Wow! Another typical non-business owner "what's holding you back" meatless question, on the copywriting forum?

The moment you remove money from any BUSINESS equation, your question immediately becomes impotent.

Men and women are motivated by HOW MUCH they can make. You know, WIIFM.

I'm no scientist, but if I had to take a wild guess and get input from my dog Hector, what holds those back from writing for content mills, we do agree and concur, there is no money in it.

It is and will always be about: THE MONEY!

If you think it isn't, then you are diluted.

    then you are diluted.
I believe the word is deluded....

though the other interpretation does have a certain appeal....

No. I meant diluted. His thinking is watered down. Weakened.
