Warrior Forum is a great place to learn about copywriting but if you want to actually master the craft quickly you need to learn from several different sources.

All of the resources I've chosen are free because while I believe that there are excellent paid courses out there I also believe most people can master the skill of copywriting using free advice and dedicated practice.

Most of the resources and tools you'll find below are designed specifically for copywriters but some are meant to help writers of all kinds with the basics of grammar and spelling. I hope you'll find them useful--and please share any resources you know of that I haven't listed here.

1) Copy Blogger -- http://www.copyblogger.com/

Copy Blogger is really the ultimate resource for anyone who wants to master the skill of copywriting. The blog has thousands of articles on all topics related to copywriting written by a variety of freelance professionals. They also offer a paid community where copywriters can learn from each other and a paid certification course. There is no better place if you want to learn more about copywriting.

2) Copy Hackers -- https://copyhackers.com/

Another excellent blog by and for copywriters, Copy Hackers is also a large community of writers sharing their knowledge on freelancing, growth hacking, and copywriting. The site also accepts guest posts and is a great place to gain exposure and experience.

3) Copywriters' Roundtable -- http://copywritersroundtable.com/

This website has both a highly informative blog and an excellent newsletter. When you sign up for the free newsletter you'll also get access to a few free reports and other resources to help you improve your copywriting.

4) Grammar Girl -- http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar

If you ever want to brush up on some of the more technical aspects of the English language this is the place to do it. They offer a podcast and a blog where you can get quick answers to any grammar question you can imagine. Oh, and they have a really fun style too.

5) Grammarly -- https://www.grammarly.com/s?AT3079=2

Grammarly is a free extension you can add to Google Chrome. It points out any grammar mistakes you're making when you write online so you can write fully professional web copy and emails. There is also a paid version.

6) Plagiarism Checker -- http://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/

Even accidentally writing content too similar to somebody else's can seriously harm your search engine rankings and turn away interested customers. This checker will scan your articles carefully and compare them to scans from all over the web to determine whether or not your content is original.

7) Unsuck - It -- http://unsuck-it.com/

Not sure how to transform your client's business jargon into something their customers will actually want to read? Unsure of how to transform your own website's technical language? Put a word you're having trouble replacing into the Unsuck - It search engine and you'll get a new, regular-people friendly definition to work with. The tool is completely free and new words are being added all the time.

Do you know any awesome tools or resources for copywriters that didn't make it onto this list? I'd love to hear about them.

You do not need those tools to master the craft quickly. Multi Million dollar sales are conducted every day and grammarly or the other tools you mention are never use ! Your argument is week saying these tools are needed to master the craft quickly. When you have individuals making 6 and 7 figure a year incomes without ever touching any of those tools.

You can learn more here for free, then listening to all these recent posts by poster who joined this year and are dumping junk in this and other sections of the Warrior Forum.

If you are in doubt go to post #2 and put Gordon Words into real world Action ! http://www.warriorforum.com/copywrit...pywriting.html

Even if you learn quickly, it doesn't mean you will be good.

I don't think for example Grammarly helps you write better copy, it is a tool for enhancing your spelling and grammar - it doesn't help you write the material.

Similarly, plagiarism checkers are not going to help you develop your writing skills either and furthermore if you need to check if you have plagiarised that is a bit of a worry anyway and shows you haven't got the hang of the whole idea to start with.

I know what you are trying to say, however no tool will allow you to learn quicker a craft like writing.

It's meant to take a while, you are meant to make mistakes and it is not something you just 'flick a switch' on and know.

I learnt from working hard, reading some great copy from the experts, rewriting and getting feedback - I also did courses and developed my skills in an environment where I could test it on actual clients and get their reactions and responses to my CTA's. It's not as easy as you're making it out to be.
