    Thanks Barb...better than a one sentence Blair Warren copy writing mantra.

    YET, what should be the starting point, before a single key stroke, before a single letter is typed, written or pen put to paper...it gets ignored.

    IF a writer starts with that...

    then the process, or formula, techniques all flow out of the RESPONSE.

    And one crafts their STIMULI accordingly.

    The content writer wants words, a certain number of them.
    The copy writer wants a response.

    What do you want your reader to DO? Start there, and backward chain your copy to help them decide to do it.
