How can I find copywriting jobs?

by AndrewGolyanov 13 replies
I am good at copywriting and starting up my own forex infosite.

I am from Russia, but have been working as a finance translator for the last 8 years.

Could you give my any pointers?

Yes, I am actually reading it for a couple of day, lol. Starting using the technique "write the blog post about your client".

Do you have any other suggestions?)))

101 ways isn't enough to chose from? lol

I recommend that you pick one "short term" method and one "long term" method. It's too easy to get distracted pursuing more than two methods.

Kinda interesting. If a copywriter doesn't know how to bring themselves an avalanche of clients... are they a good enough copywriter to justify hiring?

Well, you may register at one of freelance marketplaces and search for clients there.

You can definitely check out big freelance sites like Upwork, Freelancer or Fiverr. I think your skills would be in good demand there.

You can always try posting your services on one of the websites built just for that, e.g. UpWork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc. Personally, I've had great experience with WeGrowth, which is a relatively new website, but the team is nice and I got a first client fairly quickly from posting my service.

Good luck with your job search!

They do NOT have a section for copywriters, only SEO copywriters, which is empty. Doesn't answer the question, does it?

Ever tried freelancing? Lots of people in need of copywriting jobs are posting quotes daily. You should register and have at it

        Hi GordonJ

I just said that I had a good experience, I didn't explore every possible category there. Perhaps if Andrew posts a service there, they will open up a category for copywriting only. There's no need to get angry or anything.

If you're a good writer, why not focus on getting your own website jamming? There's a ton of ways to monetize website traffic. Why not do that instead of looking for clients? Your clients will probably end up being people who have already started their own successful sites anyway. Why not cut out the middle man and keep all the profits for yourself?
