Hi Guys,

I tested some sales letters for my product in Italy.
Now I want to sell it in USA. According you, there are some difference for the copy, or basically is the same in Italy and Usa?
I think no, but I'll appreciate any suggestions...

Thank you in advance... (and excuse for not perfect english :p)

The first thing is if you're planning to write your own copy, then you'll need to use better English. If that's not possible, then your best option is to just hire a good copywriter to write it for you.

Or get an editor to edit it. I work with a lot of clients for which English is not their first language and their copy just needs some improving and tidying up.
      Then test it etc etc

      Yes, of course.

For this, I've a professional translator (mother language).
My product was already translate by her.

My answer was if basically the copy for italians and americans are the same, or needed little changes...

Just take it like this: People are people, regardless of where they are from or the color of their skin. If they can read whatever language your copy is in, as long as it's compelling, enticing, and there is a demand for whaty you're offering, then it will work.

Look at what huge corporations like McDonald's, Coke, ext. do.

For the most part, they use basically the same ads in the US and over seas, they just change the language so those seeing the ad can understand what's being said.

Just don't try to sell a fur coat and snow boots to people living in the desert and expect to make a lot of sales (LOL).
