150 Clicks Throughs and No Sales to High Converting Site?

Greetings,

I have a weight loss newsletter with roughly 200 subscribers since July, I have had over 150 clicks for a promotion letter promoting Fat Loss 4 Idiots:

1) Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Affiliate Page Here: FatLoss4Idiots.com/aff :::: Thanks.
$/sale: $30.92 | Future $: - | Total $/sale: $30.92 | %/sale: 75.0% | %refd: 93.0% | grav: 555.20

Yet no sales despite the high converting site. Here is my pre-sell message, which I'd assume does a great job since it has a 40% CTR rate.

Here is my letter:

How a Random Google Search Led to Losing 10 lbs in 2 Weeks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~
{!name_fix}, are you in the same dilemma my friend Paula was?
Paula had an upcoming vacation coming up that was going to
put her in the typical bikini beach attire in about three weeks!
The problem? Paula wanted to lose about 12 pounds of her
stomach fat to not gross out the rest of the beach bums!
Have you ever been in that kind of bind where the clock is
ticking to show the rest of the world what you've got?! Paula
was frantic and depressed!
Anyways, we did some research on Google and found a couple
potential websites to obtain that fast weight loss she wanted,
however I could tell that most of them were going to have
bad consequences (i.e. massive amounts of fat coming back faster
than ever!)
However it wasn't until we did a search for a simple, easy to
follow program for losing weight FAST and KEEPING it off that we
stumbled on this lil' discovery:
[URL LINK]
So Paula tried out their very fun, interactive, and
easy weight loss program, and in 17 days she had lost 11 POUNDS!!
She could even see the outline of her Abs! Paula couldn't have
been more excited,and our friends were amazed when they saw her
in her bikini!
So what made this program successful for Paula where the others
failed, and how can you benefit from Paula's discovery?
Essentially their program takes out any possible reason you could
have for not being successful in losing a lot of weight fast!
They take you (basically by the hand!) and walk you through what
you need to do to turn your body into a fat burning machine
NATURALLY, no chemicals, no expensive "magic" pills etc.
You will basically receive your own personal trainer and
nutrition expert in the form of their interactive online software,
input the types of foods and meals you enjoy, and the software
will create your OWN PERSONAL DIET! Can you imagine losing
weight in days, and not struggling to do it...but actually having
fun!? Paula was practically drooling with anticipation before
her meals she said! Haha!
This blew me away, and really got Paula motivated! No more choking
down horrible foods that you wouldn't normally eat. The software
creates a lifestyle you can easily maintain
and KEEP LOSING WEIGHT!
More on this dynamic new software is explained here:
[URL LINK]
You also receive a no-nonsense guide on what foods make your
body burn fat, and block fat from being stored, and what foods
do the exact opposite! Paula was shocked to know that some of
the "healthy" foods she had been eating had actually been
PREVENTING her from losing fat all along!
Paula said she felt so embarrassed to realize all the stress and
unhappiness over previous attempts to lose weight could have been
avoided this whole time! But she did say she was glad to have
came across their guide which made everything from simple and
fast to start doing the day she read it! Avoiding confusing diets
makes everything else a lot easier if you think about it.
In the end, the result spoke for itself, she had that bikini body
she was dreaming to show off, and she did it fast! Two months
later she had lost another 4 pounds on top of what she had
already lost! Weight that she had been foolishly preventing
herself from losing by following the "wrong healthy" advice
this entire time!
I was pretty impressed myself, people who have complained about
lack of time, being lazy, or just skeptical of the diet scams
out there finally have a solid weight loss program for fast
results they can take a look at!
So if you've got some free time maybe let some of your friends
know about it:
[URL LINK]
In the meantime I'll have another tip on losing weight and
keeping it off for you tomorrow!
Enjoy :-)
What am I doing wrong? The newsletter is for people looking to lose weight quickly...I would assume when they went to the Fat Loss 4 Idiots site they'd be pre-sold as it gets!
Thoughts please?
    Sorry you must have misunderstood, people ARE clicking through, they just aren't purchasing the actual product from Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
    Which means that if people are taking the time to read the email, and clicking through to a high converting website...something is going wrong.
    Just not sure what it is! The site people are being sent to (which would be the same for an adwords ad)
    Your landing page says:
    NO Workout
    NO Dieting
    ?
    And the sales letter you're promoting is for a:
    "fat loss accelerated diet"
    Do you see the contradiction?
    You do mention the diet in that email, but still, you might have the wrong crowd clicking (and it seems not reading your full email).
      No, I don't see any contradiction.
      You don't need to go on a diet or do any work out to lose weight.
      You can eat as much as 5 times a day, and lose weight.
      The key is eating the right foods, and often, this helps build up the metabolism faster which results in you losing weight.
    hrmmm I see, so I need to send them to a more directed landing page.
    So they are clicking through the email expecting something I'm not giving them
    lack of consistency is an error that many folks make.
    HOWEVER -- you could also be victim of a variety ways of stealing affiliate commissions.
    Before promoting ANYTHING -- make sure that your affiliate cookie gets place and stays placed all throughout the process.
    If there's an optin -- make sure you affiliate commission stays intact.
    If there's an alternate payment processor (e.g., Paypal), it can likewise "steal" commissions from you.
    I went thru the site at one point -- as I recall -- there are a number of pages that people have to walk through.
    Just because it claims to be a high-converting sales letter -- it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be a high-converting sales letter for YOU. Conversion rates can vary quite widely by the affiliate promoting them.
    One way to make sure you get your commissions is to offer bonuses to the purchasing buying.
    An even better way is to capture opt-ins before sending the person on to the sales page.
    That's the bare bones of it -- but there are definitely nuances in each approach.
    Also, 150 clicks is not really enough to gather any statistical data. While your entire system perhaps needs an over-haul... Just be cautious using small amounts of info as a guiding insight.
    Hi Dexx,
    Something else you may want to take note of is that FL4I has a few different landing pages I believe, you can access them from their affiliate pages. Some of them are going to convert better than others without a doubt, and I think I also noticed a while ago that some of the LPs require the visitor to click through quite a few other pages before they can actually hit the order button.
    I haven't tested it or anything, but it does seem to me that with all the info and expectations you create in your email, delivering the prospect to the wrong landing page will KILL your conversions stone dead.
    Also, 150 clicks isn't much. I'd wait until it was at least 300 before making any decisions. At least.
    Hope that helps
      100 clicks is enough to determine if the campaign is good enough or not. 300 is too many.
      If you're not making profits by 100 clicks, you seriously need to do some work, to work out what is wrong, and if Dexx is driving traffic to that FL4I site, then that's the reason why it's not converting off the bat, far too many pages to click before one gets to the buy page.
    Now, Dexx, that site you have there is the worst landing page ever. There are far too many pages to click before a person buys.
    So what you need to do, which is what I have done, is create my own Landing page for fat loss 4 idiots, and add the payment URL into the buy button of my page with my affiliate link. Works wonders.
    Thanks for the great feedback guys, I think you might be right on the landing page problem of needing to click through like 5+ pages to get to the order button.
    I thought having the visitor click through the multiple pages would keep them interested to "find out more" until the reached the order page.
    I'll look for a landing page that gets them to the buy button ASAP while they have the emotional drive to do so!
    I'll let you all know what happens over the next week (if anything)
    To the OP:
    Fat Loss 4 Idiots is probably the most successful weight loss web site in history. It gets nearly 5 million visitors a month. It converts about 4-5 sales out of every 1000 cold traffic clicks...which is tops when it comes to weight loss...
    ...so obviously, the multi page approach works, wouldn't you say?
      Insufficient information to draw a conclusion.
      There's no data that shows that the predominance of buyers goes through the 5 page landing page site. Or, even goes thru ANY of the LPs that FL4I provides.
        I don't know the numbers. But I know it converts well.
        The 5 landing setup works. Each time the visitor presses the button to see the next page is like saying "ok" or "yes". It's like an interaction, it's like training people to take action on your page, after a couple of clicks like that on that very same place will be a buy button. Each call to action on each page is very appealing. Also, people process the smaller chunks of information more easily, they are more comfortable with that. They get drawn to it on the way.
        Here is what Harlan Kilstein says about the copy:
