Unfortunate Copy Writing

There are great marketing copy writers on the net and I can't get enough information and tutoring from them. Unfortunately, there are those unethical people who can also write great copies, many even better, who will capture your emotional imagination like bees to honey. Careful.

  • Yea but that is what copywriting is all about, but I do agree with you

Unfortunately, a lot of people have realized that it is easier/more profitable to write a good sales letter than design a quality product. But that's only a short-term strategy, and ultimately you'll find that four out of the five results that come up when you Google your name will have the word "scam" in the title.

Can somebody with more brains than myself explain to me the point of the
OP because I don't have a clue.

Steve - I agree - but that has become par for the course in this section some days, hasn't it?

At least he's not promoting something - like himself, for example

What cracks me up even more is the one response that actually tries to
          answer...um...whatever.

Makes me wonder if people just type to hear themselves type.

I need to go shovel some show.

All you copywriters are just trying to sell things to people!

            (I think that's what he's saying)

In other words, he's stating the obvious intent of a sales letter?

You know, I'd report this thread for deletion if it wasn't so downright
              comical.

              (shakes head)

Ahem. Steven, it looks like he's saying the "unethical" copywriters are better at getting you to do what they want (buy, buy, buy) than the ethical ones. He's issuing a warning to "Beware those who can actually capture your emotional imagination."

    Manipulative so-and-so's. LOL

    That's my take on it.

Ok, glad I'm not alone on this one. I read it three times just to
    be sure.

those unethical people who can also write great copies, many even better, who will capture your emotional imagination like bees to honey. Careful.
But I think he's trying to say that unethical copywriters will use their skills
to take advantage for whatever unscrupulous reasons.

Or, he's referring to copywriters who write very good sales letters to sell
bad products, and the sales letters are effective because they're well
    written.

Seems those are the only two possible interpretations.

But of course I could be way off base. lol

    It's simple!

I'd love to know who thanked him for his one post and what that post was.

Or maybe I'm better off not knowing.

Is it just me or is the Warrior Forum attracting more and more people who either want solutions handed to them on a plate (and have someone else do all the hard grunt work associated with them) or lunatics?

At least I get a good laugh regularly! But it is a shame that some people try desperately to help and offer great advice, while the OP's either bitch and moan or simply disappear from the threads they create.
