Hi,

I am organizing a online webinar/ teleseminar event soon. I have made similar posts before and got some nice feedback from everyone.

I have written a bunch of head lines but do not have enough resources to split test them. I really need it by the end of day today as I am sending out an email to a big list tomorrow morning.

Could you please pick the best ones:

[Fre.e Webinar]Six Internet Marketing Experts Show You How to..

That would be my subject line
It tells them right away what they'll get, what's in it for them.
    free webinar

and I think that's a big benefit because people love free webinars with great content. At least I do!

Six experts - tells them it must be good
and it also keeps a little bit of curiousity
    ..how to.. ..what?

As if they don't know it's make money.
but there are different ways to make money so they don't know exactly. And you can address what exactly you'll be discussing on the webinar in the email.

As for the email I suggest you give more details about who are these 6 mysterious experts and what they've achieved And it also sounds to me too hyped up.

I like to keep it more low key, more conversational. As you would talk to a friend(or group of friends) in front of you.

so that's my tips. disclaimer: use at your own risk, no results promised.

    good luck

    It's 4...

Would you like to know why?

    You used the word "free".

Even if someone thinks it's a scam, they will still out of curiousity open it.

That's said...it's email. Make sure the spam filters don't remove it.

I would take one of the other Headlines and combine it with the word free:

Limited Time Offer - 6 Experts Teach You Online Marketing for FREE!!!

Ok so this might be a little long but I recommend Urgency or Scarcity and FREE
    and using a combination thereof.

    Hope that helps.

    Magic words. Trust me.

I dunno...isn't free seen as a spam word by a lot of email filters.

I haven't tested that argument myself...but I've been warned off of using "free" in email subject lines.

I like #2 myself...but I suspect this is one of those things you'd need to test and not rely on votes from folks not necessarily in your market.

Yes I agree 4. Most people will look at something that is free even if they think think it is not for them.

With the email - always change the word free to fr.ee or fre.e or fr'ee because if not, it will end up in the junk mail. You always have to disguise that word or use something that conveys the same message - like no charge.

Depending on how handsome these experts are,
it might arouse a little more than curiosity

#4 will get you more clicks.. but probably less conversions. Though I would go with it. You will get more views because heck, who doesn't want to see something "free"

      Good point.

In fact "free" does get more clicks but making someone invest something will prove more worthwhile.

Maybe charge a dollar for the event and then people will take it more seriously.

Free does get more clicks, but when you send out an email with the word free as a subject or in the body of the email text, whatever you are promoting as free better be free, because if it is not and a lawyer happens to get a hold of that email.......

you have to be really careful when you use the words free and the word money in your marketing campaigns, squeeze pages, landing pages etc

I would get rid of the word money in the body of your email text if I was you (do not use anything like earnings, profit, catch, money etc, you get the idea)

note: some email systems are automatically set up to send any incoming email with the word money in it directly to the junk folder

I've had a ton of success with the "Trojan horse" thank you.

          subject line: thank you

It's called the trojan horse because people open it up thinking they must have bought something then you just tie the copy in with the subject line.

          MANDATORY
was another one that rocked it for me pretty good.

          Weird stuff ;-)
          Worked killer as well...

I send to about 8,000 so I see what works in my market... and stuff like you were saying looks like every other offer. You need to stand out.
