Need some help choosing a domain name

Hey guys,

I'm starting a proofreading business plus possibly offering copy editing and wonder if you can help with some domain name ideas please. Also, do you think I can get away with using a blog style layout for the site? I have a cool theme from Woo themes, the 'Fresh News' theme, that I'd really like to use. Here's the link (no affiliate link)

Thanks in advance for any responses.

    Hey,

Do you have any ideas for specific branding keywords you want to incorporate? I'll gladly help pull a variety of available domain names for you to choose from.

Yes, you can certainly set it up in a blog style layout. I would suggest making regular posts to keep consistent SEO/PR rankings up once established.

    Google. Yahoo, Slashdot.

    My 2 cents.
I would start by looking at the keyword you would like to be found under when someone searches for your services. If I was you I would be looking to get the term "proof" in the domain name somewhere such as "proofreadingman.com"

      Thanks for all your responses.

@Cortney - Yes, I'll definitely be writing regular articles to post to the blog although I haven't decided exactly how wide a selection of related topics I should cover.

@Ken & Gaz - I'm not sure whether I should use a keyword/keyphrase or go with something catchy like you mention. All the best keywords are taken so if I went the keyword/keyphrase route I'd need to add a prefix or suffix to the end or beginning. Hmm, it's the great debate isn't it, whether to go for a loaded domain name to make use of their natural gravity or go for something memorable and a bit different.

I've thought of one domain which seems pretty cool. Proofreadingprose.com with the double interpretation of the last word proofreadingpro/s and the full name. Is that too much of a mouthful?
