Calling all Copywriters!

I have a niche site that, through my own efforts and through affiliate efforts, gets 1500+/- hops per DAY.

You read that right... 1500 hops per day (it's a CB product).

I am averaging just a few sales per week. I think that's a little... uhhh... LOW.

It is a continuity site but I could easily do a one time sale and then offer an upsell to the continuity.

Do you think you could make this site produce 5 to 7 sales a day? That would be a sale every 200-250 hops.

Please PM me for the site url if you are interested in taking a look. I am sure that with the correct copy and upsell/downsell or OTO, we could both do very well.

The traffic is there... just need the sales.

    Hi Nicola,

    Yes - I read that and I am not looking for an article or pack of articles. I am asking if there are copywriters here that can produce an astounding amount of sales by changing and rewriting my offer.

    I have the traffic - but apparently my sales copy stinks. I'd post a link here but probably not a good idea... instead, you can get an idea by looking at and searching on my username here.


    In fact - I'm beginning to think my whole offer stinks... that's why I am here posting.

      What the problem is is no one seems to be willing to go into any detail at all.

      Here's the thing... successful copywriters already have a backlog of clients. They position themselves so that clients come to THEM - not the other way around.

      That's not to say they won't send you a quick message... but they'll only do it if you give them some basic info. If you don't provide the basics, you'll get a heap of low-talent writers who are desperate for work because (surprise surprise) they are unable to market themselves... and if they can't market themselves, most likely they won't be able to help you.

      So if you are looking for a copywriter and want to post a thread, include this info:


      *Your budget (be aware that your chances of getting a decent writer for under $1 000 are about as good as winning the lottery, and your chances of getting a decent writer under $2 000 are slim at best. You get what you pay for, after all).

      *Your niche (I can appreciate you may not want to "give away" your product on an open forum filled with marketers... but a general statement is a good start. E.g. "weight loss", "bodybuilding", "internet marketing").

      *What the project IS (sales page, squeeze page, autoresponder emails etc)

      *Your deadline that you need the copy by (even a general idea is handy)


      This will help you in several ways:

      *You'll actually get decent writers sending you messages (assuming you don't try to offer a dirt cheap price)

      *You will have less enquiries from skilled copywriters who wouldn't be able to do your project anyway

      *You'll ensure you get a writer who is passionate about your topic (important)


      If you follow these guidelines, you'll not only make this board a better place for everyone, but also help yourself out.

    Hey dude,

    Are you sure this is a hungry market of buyers?

    And are you sure your traffic is BUYING traffic?

    These are important things to think about before you drop cash on a copywriter... unless you have a lot of disposable income.

    In which case there's a new car I've been eyeing...

      Is this the same letter I looked at a year or so ago that
      was re-worked by a graphic-designer/copywriter?

      I remember that being an ebook. I actually ran across it
      doing my own niche research and remembered it.

      Folks may be suspicious of continuity - difficulty withdrawing,
      especially without an 800 number to call.

    That could be a problem right there.

    You have no idea how those affiliates are generating traffic... a lot of it is probably junk.
