Making a Sales letter (or a site) which Adwords is OK with?

Hi,

As you know it is getting difficult to put ads for info products on Adwords.
I was researching about how to put info product's ads on Adwords and I learned Adwords does approve info prducts' ads but the sales page has to be as below.

A letter should not be too long, if long, put a navigation link in between or somewhere easy to find.
Easy to see where all the information is.
Ideally "Buy now" option on "above the fold"
(Easy to find where to buy)
The price is easy to find.
Contains many internal links (or external links).
Separate "about me""contact me" "FAQ" and put them in the different pages (not all in one page)
Privacy policy
Don't use too emotional words
Don't use "hurry up, the offer ends in XX hours" strategy or things like that
etc etc.

So, a lot of things Adwords asks seem to lower the conversion rate.
And when I google something and check the ads which are on now, I saw several info products ads and the most of them (if not all) did actually fit the above. (Of course, privacy policy, contact me etc should be there regardless). BUT most letters seem (to me anyway) kind of boring, or not attractive.

My question is, do you guys try to (or asked to try to) fit the adwords policy when you write a copy?If so, what have you done? Is it worth a try?

Or, you no longer (or never have) use(d) Adwords?

Of course, there is always a choice to use squeeze landing pages but I'm talking about when the landing page actually is a sales page.

I wasn't sure if this is the right forum for this question but I thought it was most relevant.(it could fit either here or the main IM forum or even PPC/SEO forum)

Thanks

Okay, I'm speaking as a qualified Google Adwords
Professional and here's my input from an info marketer's
    perspective:

NEVER NEVER allow your marketing channel to dictate
how you should structure your sales copy!

Your sales copy must be primed to convert. That's all.

Google Adwords has very strict content policy. And often,
it gets in the way of a good converting salescopy.

For example...if all you need is a short squeeze page...you
are almost guaranteed to get a low quality score because of
    the lack of content.

And you will end up having to pay more per clicks.

    Why penalize yourself?

Also, Google Adwords is not exactly the best traffic source
for a one page salespage - for the very same reason I talked
    about above.

In my experience...it's pretty hard to get anything above
    7 for your quality score.

If create a full content site together with your salespage,
    there may be a chance.

However...if all you want is a salespage...then it soon
    gets very tiresome for you.

So bottom line - skip Google Adwords unless you want to
pay higher CPC. At least, don't make it the ONLY traffic channel.

There are many other free and paid traffic sources
(e.g. PPV, media buys, 2nd tier PPC) out there.

Google Adwords is a great platform...but not always suitable
    for all things.

Most of the restrictions you mention apply exclusively to IM products. Why? Because they've been notorious in the 'misleading,' hype and BS category for years. Most of the sanctions set forth by the FTC (and Goog as a result of the FTC’s opinion) come from the shady marketing practices of folks promoting IM stuff. That's a fact.

On the other hand... if you're promoting something other than a MAKE A BUCKET OF CASH TODAY info product you can be sure that Google will look a lot more favorably on your offer than they would with the hypey stuff. Good luck.

What you say is true. Google frowns upon shady biz opp offers.

But it's not actually just restricted to IM. Plenty of other niches
have many shady unethical products (e.g. weight loss CPA rebill offers).

That said, there are many legitimate products using the
      direct response-styled 1 page salesletter.

But because of the way Google Adwords work...you will almost
not get a good quality score...if all you have is just a 1 page site.

Forget Adwords. You need to structure your page to sell, period. If Adwords doesn't like it, tough. Aren't sales priority #1?

    Thanks guys,
I use a long long sales page and I get 1/100-120 conversion rate for $200 product. I used to use Adwords for this product and I paid about $100 for 1 conversion. My QS was 7-8 so not bad but it was really competitive. I was still ok with that until G slapped me in the face. I tried a lot but they never approved my ads again. it is (at least I think) a legit product, not about money making or weight loss, but info about "the best way to learn English".

Other ads options it is great to know because my market for that product was in Japan and Adwords is the only option but now I'm making some products for the English market. I guess I should forget about Adwords altogether and learn other ways to get traffic!

By the way, I have bought many products which are not good or scam with "good content" sales pages and I also bought great products with long "shady" sales letters. My belief is a letter is a letter and even if it is "shady", it's not a product.
