one product, several different sales letters?

Hi,
If your product is applicable for many "targets", is it better to make a copy for each target?

For example, if your product is how to improve your memory or something like that, then you can target students, business people, each professional, language learners etc and make a copy for each target and do marketing for the each target.

For example, you can make a copy of how you can easily pass the exams, get good grades using the memory technique etc for students instead of "all inclusive" copy.

Should I do this or is it overkill?

Thanks

Ya, it's a good idea. Michel Fortin published my article on the topic...

But! As things change I think you might be able to incorporate all sales letters in to one site. A landing page that directs different traffic segments to a different part of the site for a slightly different sales message may prove to be the best way to do it.

    Cheers,
    Stephen
