What's the Best Sales Copy...

...you've come across?

For myself, it was a product for improving vertical leap, called the Vertical Jump Project. The sales letter isn't up anymore, but when I stumbled across it I very nearly purchased the product even though I knew I would probably never use it.

Davemiz-- The sales copy for the Vertical Jump Report might not have tickled you, but what took me was that I was so surprised at how ready I was to purchase the eBook or whatever it was when I had no intention of really using it. That was my example. I'd apologize for it not being up to your standards, but I wouldn't mean it. I look forward to the day that I can LOL on the new guy and feel like a big man too.

Mark, my sig has absolutely nothing to do with the sales letter mentioned, and I can't help but wonder how you'd connect a vertical jumping aid with a swimmer's log book? I'd imagine it would be beyond ironic to whine about somone else promoting a website in their sig while having numerous websites in their own.

I agree with you that your site has nothing to do with the vertical jump: I've seen the copy you mention.

It's not the best by a long shot, but it's possible it's the best you think you've seen. Especially if you haven't really been into copywriting long.

However, I have to agree with the others on your choice of topic. Lately there's been too many people starting threads on the same topic within days of each other.

The thing is, though, maybe these unnecessary threads wouldn't continue building if others didn't indulge them.

So it's not just a matter of the OPs not looking, it's also a matter of others not leaving alone threads which obviously should not be there because of duplication.
