I have a client that insisted on this format for his squeeze page. Craigslist Leads for Realtors and Lenders

I think he uses too much color and bold..

What do you all think?

      Nancy,

If you can back up your statement from credible sources outside from yourself, that would be great to go back to your client with a proposal to test your page with his, on say half the list... then run with the winner for the remainder.

This keeps ego's out of the equation and the client makes the most money out of the 2 options.

      All the best,
      Ewen

    1. its too busy
    2. your eye has no "central focus" (critical for DM copy)
    3. in ALL my tests, shorter squeezes outpull longer

plus that design looks like crap.

when i used to work with clients, and they'd want some retarded design, my response to them was always the following...

"Do you want it to look pretty, or do you want it to sell?

    your choice."

99% of the time they'd chose sell... and i'd just tell them, i'm the expert, you hired me, let me do what you're paying me to do.... you're great at your job, i'm great at mine...

    that sorta thing.

    worked like a champ.

    I went to the site.
Honestly, it is all over the place. Very distracting.
You are absolutely correct with you intial gut reaction to your client.
    It needs more focus.
I am personally interested in this market too, because my wife is a Realtor and a Mortgage Broker.
Even knowing inside information about this industry and always interested in what she can do for better marketing, this site left me wanting more and feeling confused.
I agree with all the comments so far. Sucks when it isn't great when you have put your time into it. But honest now is better than fluff, and poor sales later. The client would only blame you! (lol)

Thank you all for you great comments!! Greg, you and your wife are the client we are trying to reach. Bob (my client) wants to know what you were confused with and how could we make it more clear.

      Thanks!!

Whoa! This is supposed to be a squeeze page?

It's all over the place. At first, I thought it was about getting more leads/clients, but by the time I was halfway through I couldn't stand looking anymore.

Focus on the main thing, Have a provocative statement, and promise them a FREE something or other that delivers some key informaiton they want (i.e., some of what's on that page).

And by the way, the squeeze page is not the place to mention price!

Also get rid of all of the videos except for one (MAX!).

About the top -- the print on the dark background is totally not working.

        Hope that makes sense...

I think he should change the blue line "87.4% etc.." to Tahoma and also change the font color to a softer/darker blue...
