How to find diamond-in-the-rough copywriters?

I'm trying to get a good deal on a direct sales copywriter.

Right now, I feel like Googling it is only going to turn up the top dogs.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to find an up-and-comer or diamond in the rough guy?

I really appreciate the help!

      Ok here's my details... my keep in mind, my original question was where to find a up and coming copywriter...

      Product/Niche: Annual dating skills conference for men in New York City

      Project requirement:
      - A converting sales page for conference tickets
      - Help creating a unique angle/sales proposal appreciated
      - Site layout improvements and suggestions appreciated

      Timeline/Deadline: Flexible, sooner is always better, but 2-3months is fine

      Budget: $1,000-20,000

        I need a clarification on your product niche. The clarification could cause some copywriters to raise their hand and others to lower theirs but will save you time from talking to someone who wouldn't take your project regardless of your budget.

        Is your product aimed at dating as in relationships/find your soulmate... or dating as in getting a date for one night only?

        Oh... and I'm assuming since you're looking for up and comers that's a typo where you say 1000-20000, and you really mean 2000.
