Mobile Copywriting. Here Is What My Test Shows.

I'm sharing it here and hopefully others can input more from their test.

1) Stay away from shortened sms language. Write in simple language but you don't want shun away people won't understand them.

2) You don't need to "scream" the words too much. It is already in their face and I believe on mobile it is troublesome to surf away. So, keep them interested but not turned off.

3) Call to action on either the first 2 lines. I did a test placing the call to action in the middle (above fold) and at the end only. First line always did better. I'm guessing people are busy on the move and they appreciate you getting to the point.

4) Long copy or short copy?.... both work just as well

5) Keep to only 1 type of call to action. All my test that I did, having tell them to either key in their email or enter a shortcode for sms will do worse than telling them to do 1 thing only.

Of course, those above are only the general rule for me. I haven't done too much campaign to see that the opposite can actually be better.

Any of you guys might want to add something?

the list is already complete for me..
but why we should do "Keep to only 1 type of call to action" ?
i think if we provide more ways, the visitor might be interested..

If you give people a choice, they are more likely to do nothing.

That is why the best sales pages only have one option (buy now or opt in now)
