need help/advice in how to write autoresponder emails

Hello,

I am a newbie in list building/email marketing.
I have been doing affilaite marketing for a while with clickbank and amazon.

my approached used be like this:

build a review page, write articles and submit to ezinearticles and get traffic/sales.

I have been doing the above method and seems to work resonably, now I want to jump over list building and email marketing.

My problem is that I do not have any idea how to write autoresponder emails and was hopping that you guys could help me here

niche is not important, what I need to know is the structor of the emails and the lenght of the emails and how many email should I send and what is the ideal time to send them?

should I send daily, every 2 days, weekly, etc?

and what should I write on every single message?

I am totally confused, pls. need your expertise advice

thank you

    Hi there

Welcome to the world of email marketing!

Here's what works for me personally (and I'm sure many other marketers as well)

    1) Building rapport. (write as though you're talking to them personally, not like they're just a list)

    2) Give useful, relevant information - people will unsubscribe fast if you just give them vague, rehashed info. Try to stand out and really share tidbits of value. (note I said tidbits, don't throw all your cards on the table in one go)

    3) Train them to follow links. This is important, because eventually you'll want them to purchase something from you. Give them links to useful sites, videos and freebies to start them out, eventually they'll keep clicking links you send them.

    There's some basics for you

As far as the intervals - test it and see what works. Some people suggest every day, I personally do it every 2 or so days, but that seems to work well for my personal market.

And for what to write- try subscribing to some well- known lists. See what they send you Study it. And then create your own!

Do you have an auto responder set up yet?

Do you want to deliver your own product or just use it to promote more affiliate products?

You'll get a hundred different views, but I think 2-3 emails offering free valuable content to every affiliate offering.

I'd email every other day or maybe stagger it to look natural, for god's sake don't email me twice in one day!

Tell your subscriber what they're getting or where they're going. If you email me and say "I've got something for you today, click here" chances are I won't.

Use common sense, try to establish a relationship, and watch your unsubscribe rate.

It depends on the niche (among other things, such as who the people are and what attracted them onto your list).

It doesn't help you to know how long my autoresponder emails are and how often I send them, because the people on my lists are different from the people who are going to be on your lists. Different people, different niches, attracted in different ways. They'll definitely react in different ways.

I promise I don't mean it impolitely, but you're ready to "unlearn" stuff as well as learn it - perhaps before learning it.

    Listen... and listen close.

    *whispers*

Go look for Jason Fladien on Warrior Forum, yes, this website... and ask him about his "32 war room reports", there's a 12 step autoresponder sequence you can swipe from those reports...

    *normal voice*

Now, I know in his profile picture Jason looks like he forgot about showering for a month, but don't let that fool you... apart from smelling like flowers his 12 step autoresponder sequence will help.

    Get to it.

thanks! those are great and very easy to make, specially with the software that will automatically embed your affiliate link.

thank you, do you know any other like this for clickbank products?
