Everyone knows that headlines are super important, they are what ses the tone for the rest of your page, but sometimes it's hard to create a decent headline. I just found this post on Copyblogger that I thought was really useful for anyone that has problems coming up with good headlines to write.

    Great resource!

I think the most important piece of the puzzle--when it comes to writing great headlines--is to write, and be willing to write, lots of really bad ones. Too many wannabe copywriters edit while they write. This is truly unfortunate because it stifles creativity.

    Dare to suck.

Commit your worst ideas to paper. Write down the dumbest things your neurons can concoct. That is a measure of your current capacity. Compare that to what you're writing a year later and you'll be amazed at how the new-worst compares to your old-best.

I agree...Lawrence is a great stop for all new copywriters, and the free Schwartz book he gives is truly a great help.
