Will Write 4 Warriors...or anyone really

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, although I am not new to freelance writing. I am just getting back into it full time. I could seriously use some help building my client base.

I am honest, hardworking, always meet my deadlines, and am comfortable writing for any genre. I know how to compose engaging, SEO and keyword rich content that will stand out from all the regurgitated sludge that seems to dominate every web page these days. My work is guaranteed to be plagiarism free as I pass each article through CopyScape at my own cost.

Do you need editing or rewrites? I am able to quickly rework clumsy or choppy sentences, reorganize rambling text, and provide entire rewrites if necessary.

Please give me the opportunity to provide you (or your Uncle Fred) with web content, newsletter articles, email campaigns, or whatever...as long as it involves words, I can do it.

I think my rates are very reasonable at $10 per 550 word piece. (Relevant, high-quality, intelligent articles) I can provide you with as many articles as you need. Just PM me for a personal quote.

I appreciate the opportunity. I need to build up my client base and appreciate any help I can get. I will gladly email sample articles and/or a full resume.
Thanks again....Robinana

I just did some work (sales letters) for ndcole78 Nicolas Cole, a fellow warrior, and would love some more work! Send writing or editing my way!

Okay so this post has 34 views so far and zero responses. Was my post horrifying? Scary?
I'm new here and am feeling all alone....or maybe just sorry for myself?

      Hi Robiana,

I usually hang out in the main discussion room, but after taking a day off from J.O.B yesterday and hanging out in there all day I got kinda bored and decided to come and check out this forum.

I dont' think I've ever come to the copywriting forum before, lol.

But I know that the rules in the main discussion are that you can't self-promote, so most likely I would say that your best bet is to get as active as you can find the time for in here, and offer great deals in the WSO section for your services.

I can't say as I'd suggest the classified section, since that seems to be not quite as active but also is more for non-original work, whereas the WSO section IS for original work.

      Welcome to the WF.

I think it may be that your offer should be in the Warriors For Hire section, classified ads or perhaps you could do a Warrior Special Offer in the WSO section - that way you will get warriors interested in your offer

You might also look at changing your headline to something a little more relevant to your offer. Just some thoughts.

By the way, the WSO rules require you to have a minimum of posts before you post your offer there so check the rules for the other two places I mentioned first and perhaps post there.

    All the best

    Leanne

    Hi,

Theres a few problems you'll hit when getting a few customers.

People, me included, will go with a cheaper article writer at around $3 for a 250 word article, which will turn out to be rubbish, by the time it's edited 15 minutes later, its only 190 words.

I've used three writers varying in cost, and have just decided to write my own stuff from now on!

You need to break this barrier with the above people, and get yourself a wordpress blog with samples maybe?

You all are awesome! I love all the pointers and yes, I will move my self-promotion over to WSO section. I just read about it. Thanks for the tip Marcus! I do have a Wordpress Blog and I've just added it to my signature.

Thanks for the advice Jane, and thank you all for being so completely blunt! It is very helpful...I am going to like it here!

Hi Robinana..welcome to the Warrior Forum! Guess this must be Bring on the Newbies Month.
This is my first post here so am not going to upset all the very experienced
peeps here by stepping over the rules (which I have no clue about yet!)

The one thing that stands out for me is the "..or anyone really"

Think you should knock that kind of desperation vibe on the head right now and as another warrior said earlier, emphasize those very positive attributes that you possess and weave some really strong copy around them.

The USP advice regarding a tag line is brilliant. You see this all around now especially in the Social Media Scene such as Twitter and Facebook. You girls seem to have nabbed many of the best ones.So go do it and I am sure you will get there!

    Hi Robinana

The main thing you need to decide is what type of service you're offering. It seems that you're offering article writing services for the most part. If you call yourself a copywriter, people are probably looking for someone who can write powerful sales copy and give top-notch marketing advice as well. It might be better to call yourself an article writer rather than risk confusion for those looking for marketing copy.

    All the best

    Steve

People have been very gentle in letting you know this is not the place for this. If I, or any other writer wants to solicit work on WF we have to take out an ad in the appropriate venue.

If everyone Spammed these boards with ads there would be no room discussion only ads. Take a look at the terms of service you agreed to when you joined WF. This forum is for discussion not advertising.
