Affiliate Landing Pages: NO ONE Talks About This & Its Pissing Me OFF!

Firstly my hat is off to all of you here at the Warrior forum and for taking the time to read this post about..."Affiliate Landing Pages!" lol

To the Point:

No one - I mean absolutely No One...talks about the best way to do this!

Whats the best way to write, create, layout & design "Affiliate Landing Pages" for ppc? Not sales copy "presell copy".

Look, I'm an affiliate marketer, I don't own my own products and don't want too at this point, there's allot of reasons why, but I'll keep it to the point!

From all the research, days, months even freaking years I've been at this business, testing, trial & error, screw-ups and success... through
all that time, I haven't found anything on this damn subject and that's about the art of "Preselling" "Soft-selling" or whatever you want to call it!

Types of ppc landing pages I've seen - Choices an affiliate has with PPC

1. The review: reviewing 3-4 different related products, for example if I was interested in selling a few "work at home opps"....I would layout a review of what I thought were either the 4 best or 3 best.

2. Single sell - Presell landing page. Where the affiliate is just reviewing 1 in-particular product "can be anything".

3. Squeeze page - convincing the visitor to give up their email & name or leave, then redirecting them to the vendors sales page.

4.
or Just send'em straight to the vendors page. - not a good idea 90% of them time!

Those are pretty much all the options an affiliate has to make a sale using ppc...I've tried them all, the best that's worked for me, was the single presell page...the 3-4 product review works too, but it sucks with conversions compared to the single sell!

Now when it comes to writing your landing page, As an experienced Affiliate....

"HOW DO YOU DO IT"...??? That's what I'm asking.

I mean, everything on the web is about teaching you how to write...Guess what, a freaking "Sales Page"

but nothing about how to write as an affiliate...whats the damn point of writing a sales page for someone else's product, if I'm gonna do that, I might as well make my own products right?

I've been studying this for months, I've learned allot about writing copy...don't get me wrong, there's allot to learn from it and has helped me write allot of stuff....copy is an art form & I appreciate anything I can get from it! But Sales Copy is a completely different planet, compared to Presell Copy!

What I'm asking? Does anyone have any advice on this?

Anyone can whip up a shity review, but the 1 page review works so much better especially coming from a personal experience edge...The readers really like that allot!

But whats the best way to lay it out, do I use the same sales copy formula; headline (of course) sub-headline, intro, pain, solution, lots of subtitles, benefits, proof, testimonials, call to action!

how do you write to presell, Not SELL!? How do you write affiliate landing pages, whats the best way to lay'em out and what writing formula do you use?

If anyone can help me with this, PLEASE!!! It's driving me fu**ing nutts!

The best formula for preselling is:
    1. Get attention with words like "how to" "warning" etc.
    2. Appeal emotionally with you viewer- tell them how you relate to their problem
    3. Tell them a little about your product, and how that solves their problem
    4. Tell them your creditials, and why your qualified
    5. List the benefits of your products to their specific problems
    6. Lead them to what they should do next.

Follow these simple steps and you will have a great landing page

Can you give me an example dude?

It doesn't have to be one of your pages, if you know of a good "Affiliate Landing Page" somewhere, let me know,....so we can all see it!

I know about those elements, that's very easy to say and obvious, but there's a certain way to do it...and that's what I'm talking about here!

Interesting topic. I'm curious. You mentioned that review pages work, but "suck when compared to the single pre-sell" method. Is this based off multiple tests, or a single product?

I ask because all I hear lately is about review sites and how effective they are. I haven't heard too much about the single product pre-sell. It would make for an interesting A/B/ split test.

Hey profitlancerpaul you bring up a great topic. There's so many things to go into here that it's beyond the scope of posting. There's an ebook that you need to read entitled "Make Your Content Presell!". Slow time, take time and read every word of, it's worth it. It has helped me tremendously with the way I approach writing on the web especially with affiliate products, and it gets re$ults. (Don't know if I can post a link here so I'll just PM you).

Write your presell from your exsperiance with the product.
We cannot format for you. just write it using the formula that you already know.

Write out as many headlines as you can and test each one with your copy.

Use us to read your copy when you are finished and give you pointers. Or you can have a proffessional copywriter review your copy for around $500.00 just to give some of the same advise.

Single preselling is the only way to go. You want to be as targeted as possible. Sell on thing and only one thing in your copy. List all the features then show how the featurs benefit the buyer.

If you try to sell multible things then your copy won't be very effective. It is like having multible personalities.

Honestly, it will depends about many things.

A presell landing page will be different than the one you use in ppc if you promote to your list of subscribers for example.

As said above, if you used the product, it's good to mention your experience with the product.

Here is an example of review page (note that this one was specific to people who ALREADY want to buy) I used for a recent affiliate promo.

Affiloblueprint | AffiloBlueprint Bonus | Mark Ling | Affiloblueprint review

It works because I got into the Top 10 for the promo...

Review pages work like a charm with ppc, in all kinds of niche markets.

    All the best,
    Franck.

Thank you for that, it's been one of my biggest headaches, getting the "Squeeze" pages to work the way they should and the same with Pop-ups,, most of the time I can't make them work. Those landing pages kill me.

    Thanks
