video sales letter - call to action first or bonuses?

Hi guys

I'm making my first ever video sales letter and I've been following some training on this, everything's been going fine so far but at the end of the video, the marketer instructed for me to do the call to action and THEN the bonuses, I've been following everything to the T, but I have a nagging thought in my head that this can't be right, I feel that bonuses should come first and then the call to action, but I'm no copy expert, so I guess I'm not really in the position to criticise - so I was interested to hear the opinion of you guys

Which comes first, bonus or call to action?

Thanks

    Hi there

I always close off sales copy with a call to action.

    What you COULD do is:

    1) Call to action
    2) Bonuses
    3) Another Call to action

I would actually recommended doing it that way
    What are your thoughts?

You can do it multiple times as long as the last thing on the page is a call to action.

True, you can do it before and after...but I never reveal the price until the bonuses. There are some people who will be "ready to go" before the bonuses and just want to see the price, leave a button for them...but don't give the price till you blow up the value and create pressure with the bonuses.

        I disagree.

The point is you make it look like a ridiculously good deal WITHOUT the bonuses... aka sell it as though there were no bonuses.

You get the prospect to go "Yeah, I'd be an idiot not to buy this!"

THEN you hit then with the bonuses.

It helps get any of the fence-sitters.

I used to do things your way, but then Matt O'Connor mentioned doing it the other way, and IMHO it works a lot better.

You have to test it for yourself though.

Want to take your video sales to the next level, study eban pagans video sales pages.. He is one of the few that does video the "right way".

    All the best,

Thanks for the help guys, I've taken your comments on board

@Ross - I'm kicking myself for not saving a copy of the guru blueprint sales video, I've been searching all online for it hoping they may have left the video up.

Came across the desk a few weeks back. Some grist for your campaigns.
Google up Maria Andros, some conversion video input for you.

Just mix them, just don´t call to action only one time after the bonuses. Look at TV-shop. And do the same Looks lame but it actually works.

    i think:

call to action => mention bonus => call to action again.

agree with ross on eban's videos. he's good.

I can agree with most of the guys here, call to action then bonus then call to action again and summing up what he will get for the price. 'Total value of $200 but now you get everything for just $40' etc.
