I am getting ready to launch a WSO, But unfortunately I think my sales copy SUCKS! Can any one take a look at the copy I am writing and help me out?

Introducing

Slammin CPA

Slammin CPA is a 12 page hype free guide I wrote that dives right into starting YOUR new cpa venture.

This guide covers EVERYTHING a CPA newbie needs to know to start making money in the CPA game, from getting accepted to driving traffic.

Slammin CPA has 4 different promotion methods, 2 online and 2 offline, These are nothing new or earth shattering But I bet 90% of marketers are NOT taking advantage of these traffic sources, And that's really a shame, because they are missing out on a TON of money!

One online method and both off line methods are free other than the cost for your marital, and the paid online method can be done for just 5 bucks, And NO it does NOT involve fiverr.

This guide was written for any newbie that wants to get into CPA marketing or build budget for other things, or any marketer looking for a new traffic source or out of the box offline method to use.

I know you are probably wondering If the offline methods involve flyers and the answer is yes, ONE of them utilizes flyers But we get REALLY targeted with them.

This guide IS NOT for people already doing 2k+ a month and not interested in another traffic source, and this guide IS NOT for freebie seekers or people that ask for refunds before you even try all the methods.

I truly believe that ANY one can take this guide and implement each method in it and be making money within a weeks time IF YOU WORK at it.

Guarantee. If you SHOW me that you have implemented ALL of the methods and fail to make ANY money in 30 days, PM me and we can work something out.

"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

If you think your copy sucketh, so it does!

Seriously, though, if you think it sucks, why not rework it until you are HAPPY and PROUD of it? (Or at least put your best foot forward.)

And if you're not ready to do that , why not hire someone who is?

A half-hearted effort is a waste of your time. Might as well focus on your specialty - CPA - if that's the case.

    Moving on...

One piece of advice I can give you: pick up a newspaper tomorrow and analyze it. And ask yourself a few things...

    1. Does the newspaper bold every single sentence? No. There's probably a reason for that.

    2. Are 5 different colors used? No. there's probably a reason for that.

People read editorial content more than anything else. Best try to mimic that, no?

And what does the following even mean?

"Guarantee. If you SHOW me that you have implemented ALL of the methods and fail to make ANY money in 30 days, PM me and we can work something out. "

You'll work something out? Wow, thank god for that! I'm really gonna spend my hard-earned cash now that I have the assurance that you're gonna "work something out." No. Unconditional guarantee. Even with NOTHING tried or done (cause 95% won't do anything.) And extend your guarantee - 60 days, 6 months, a year.

    1. Learn why headlines, sub-headlines and general font alteration is used.

    2. Use bullets. It's like a ****ing Kenyan marathon with your run-on sentences.

    3. Give the benefits - not the features.

    4. Your guarantee is pretty bad. Even if this was reasonable - there's too many other WSOs with the same offer, and a much more appealing guarantee. In fact - that guarantee would actually lose sales by PROMOTING uncertainty of success..

    There's a few starts.

      Hi there!

It could be free (for someone looking to start their portfolio), but of course, you're kinda flipping the coin with that one. Each copywriter has their own price, just keep in mind you often get what you pay for

As for your copy, as others have mentioned before, you need a headline. You need a sub headline. You need to not bold everything (bolding everything = nothing stands out)

Check out the format of other WSOs. Now, just fixing the formatting won't get you high conversions, but at least it will be easier on the eyes!

      Hope that helps a bit

        Hi,

Before you do a WSO, you have to get testimonials from other Warriors, especially in the IM niche.

Give out some review copies on the regular forum, if you haven't done so already.

You also need proof. How much have you made? You can't sell a WSO in that niche if you can't prove earnings.

        Hope this helps

I think I might crawl inside my harddrive and hide after that dose of objective criticism but it's all coming from the right place.
You won't get better advice anywhere.

Keep your eye on the target and don't give up.

BTW - check out Mike Cowles WSO if you haven't already - great price too!

I don't know who you are, what you're offering, what you stand for, who your existing customers are, your record, your reputation - now what was it you wanted to sell me?

tip: if you lack social proof, i.e. No testimonials etc, offer more information.

Jimmy D. Brown said this - "useful, but not enough."

what he meant by that is give them enough information but not enough to get exactly everything to start implementing.

You have a lot of work to do but it will be worth it if you want to make some money.

So if nothing else, offer more information, this alone will help where you are now.

    Hope that helps.

Don't assume everyone has all the IM acronyms memorized. Explain exactly what CPA is right up front in a friendly, engaging tone including how profitable it can be and what it's done for you and others. Make friends right up front.

I think this is quite immature. Looks like you don't even believe what you write.
      Just my point of view

  • Alright. You ready. Here we go...

Your ideal prospect doesn't want to know "what" your "thing" is... how many pages, broad generalities about the components, etc.

The big question they need answered is... "How is this gonna make me feel like the man?"

You speak to that when you talk about how this program gets them from where they are to where they want to be. And hopefully, you've done you're homework and you can speak directly to where your audience wants to be.

For example Pro's vs. Newbies have different visions of what's possible. If you over shoot this or under shoot it, you've shot yourself in the leg. You've gotta understand their world so that this gift that you're putting into their hands is seen as a one-way ticket to the destination they seek.

"12 page hype free guide" doesn't give me that.

"Pinpoint precise, easy to follow directions guide take you by the hand so that in 4 hours you'll have gone from no CPA business... to ready for action, ready to start selling, ready to start seeing extra "found" money flow into your checking account. This means that you'll see with your very own eyes that getting started isn't TOO HARD and you'll get the feeling of being proud of yourself for getting off the bench and into the game which [I]really[I] means that once the first trickle of money starts rolling in you'll be able to blow it on brand new shiny objects (ipad for instance) that you've been lusting for or... you'll be able to send a payment to those bill collectors to shut them up for a while... or you'll be able to put this money in the bank to give yourself a nice safety cushion for when **** hits the fan. Whatever you do with your newfound money is awesome and my guarantee is that you can be up and running, moving towards this money in no more than 4 hours"

You see the difference? I turned 12 pages into a picture of what can happen for this person. I don't know what their unique vision is, but I'm hoping you do and when you plug this into your salesletter, you're gonna make a lot more sales.

Focus on making sure that your claims are specific, concrete (you can verify them), emotional and are connected to a result they want. There's a quick path to improving this copy drastically.

I agree the "work something out" phrase leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps something concrete?

Hello all, Sorry I haven't checked back in on this post! I did launch my wso and despite good reviews, I did lose money on it after bumping it. The reviews tell me that the product was satisfactory so it must have been my copy. When (IF) I decide to bump it again ill have some one write me a new sales page. you can check out what I went with in my sig if you want. Ill check back in soon and see what was said.

Write copy like you were having a conversation with a friend... telling them about your great experience with the product.

You wouldn't slam your friend in the head, would you?
