What should the word count be for long Sales letter for a Clickbank product?

    Don't worry about word count. Worry about conversions.

    Does it contain enough copy to sell the product? Does it succeed in getting the prospect engaged and highly motivated to buy?

    On the other hand, does it contain too much copy, telling the prospect things they don't need to know and hampering the sale?

    The "happy middle" is in between these two points. Zero in on that. How many words it requires to get there is unimportant.
