Copywriting and Fiverr

You should look to give your audience the biggest benefits of the gig, whatever it may be. This way, instead of saying 'I do this....' and rattling off a list of whatever, you are telling the audience what they can expect to get out of hiring you for their gig.

Really beef up the benefits. So, instead of me telling people that I am a freelance writer and copywriter, I say something like 'I help businesses expand their profits and boost their bottom line by writing marketing materials which help them attract more customers.'

Believe you me, this works a lot better and will get a better reaction out of your intended audience.

Would you have any advice on the picture I use? I mean is there anything you would advise to help drawn them in to click on the gig link more?

That would be far to easy! How dare you not comb through fiverr, and google to find what I need!

Fine fine if we really need be all intelligent and sensible. This is my most successful gig, and one I rewrote this morning.

Your graphic is fine - I thought it was quite striking.

How about changing your headline instead?

What about: 'I will create a customized logo to help give you a professional image' or something to that effect.

As it's fiverr.com, you don't need to put 'for $5' on the end!

  Please forgive me if this is too personal a question, but do you live in the U.S.? If so, how can Fiverr give you anything more than a little extra spending money? I have a hard time understanding how doing little jobs for $5 each (even a ton of little jobs) can add up to anything significant for someone living in a country where $5 barely buys a gallon of gas or a gallon of milk.
  
  Unless I am missing something, even babysitters or McDonalds workers make more than what you'd make on Fiverr.

See guys, they is this stuff they do now on fiverr and people are making a kill with it, someone will create a nice gig then he will starting messaging people on fiverr and notifying them of the new gig. One of my buddy created a gig for 10,000 live backlinks and emailed people on fiverr like that and in less than 3 days, he made over 250 sales (thats over $1,000 in just 3 days) and his gig rationg also became very popular and one of my buddies did it again for a video creation gig and made a lot of sales too.

I think it's very cool since fiverr is not putting a restriction on how many messages you can send as far as you don't insert paypal or your email there. My only problem with it is that it's very time consuming and I'm a lazy guy, if a good programmer could build a software that does the messaging on autopilot, it will be very nice.

I think someone should look this up and spice up fiverr marketing a bit....

Thanks for providing this advice, I can see this being a simple but effective idea to help get some gigs and building up a reputation. I am focussing on Fiverr as my current project and trying to get as much advice as possible so this has come in handy.

As well as doing this, it may be worth building some backlinks to your gigs. I don't use fiverr much myself, but I have heard that gigs can become a cash cow if they're listed high in Google for terms such as "cheap professional logo design".

Great review is important, because it is, essentially, the extension of your sales letter; and it gives you social proof. So maybe you can encourage your clients to write you a longer review.

If you can't sell a $25/hr - $50/hr service for five bucks, many gigs taking multiple hours, you should consider not writing.
