Feedback Requested : What Do You Think?

Though I'm not a professional copywriter and I really don't have any authority say in this but I think the work is clean and it was very interesting when I was reading it, I didn't even know when I reached the end, nice article (are you the one that wrote it yourself?)

I'm not sure the word cheeky does much for the headline. As I read through the copy I don't actually see anything cheeky about the offer. You've got bigger issues to consider.

Maybe I'm missing something here but this appears to be a review of various cookware. Obviously, you want the reader to click through to the product sales (affiliate) page. If that's the case then get rid of the AdWords ads. Why take the chance that someone will click away from your review for a very small reward? It doesn't make sense.

By the same token, I have no idea why you bring up eBay. What's to stop someone from simply clicking away to eBay and finding a set? Nothing. You need to modify the page so that you entice the reader to click to your affiliate page and no other. I'd say you need to edit this page quite a bit. Good luck.

It's on hubpages, so I have no control over the adwords. But I have been placing similar but different articles around different places.

Regarding Ebay, the point of the article is to tell readers that they can get cheaper stuff if they buy a set on Amazon, and then sell off the unneeded stuff on ebay. Without that there wouldn't really be any value added in the article. Unfortunately, I was turned down as an ebay affiliate.

I guess it comes down to how badly you want this to work but it isn't exactly rocket science. I'd suggest spending $10 and getting your own domain because competing ads on your page are the kiss of death.

Without having done any keyword research I'd try and get something with the words cookware reviews in it. Don't take that as gospel as there may be many better options. Then get yourself set up with a nice 'Martha Stewart' style Wordpress theme and go to work.

Whatever you decide, do not put competing (other than Amazon) links on the site unless they are also your affiliate links. I'm sure you can find other companies selling cookware with affiliate programs.

I think you lost me with selling the 'surplus' stuff on eBay. Apparently that is the cheeky thing you mentioned up front. Forget that. It's probably not going to appeal to many people. There are far better hooks available.

Before going forward make a study of other successful cookware affiliates and see what they're doing. It might come down to something as simple as a comprehensive comparison site. Maybe price is your hook. I don't know but a viable plan is almost certain to emerge with some study. Good luck.
