Just Written a Novel!

Hi Guys,

My Dad has just written a novel, I could really do with you guys help and suggestions to market it for best effect. I am not being biased, it's actually a pretty good read.

I think it needs a good copywriter to do a review, so just on the off chance anyone has a book review website

Any help would be very greatly appreciated

    Im not sure if I can post a link from the war room in here, so ill point you in the right direction instead.

    There is a free download being given away in the war room called 'kindle revolutions' by Paul Coleman (bookpumper.com) which is a step by step method of marketing your book through Amazon Kindle.

      You know, I've always found it tricky when it comes to marketing fiction.

      Here is what I can offer:

      1. Compare to other books (popular ones in the same category).

      2. Build a website for the book itself. Offer a free chapter in pdf or (like I saw one guy do recently) offer the entire book free as a pdf, but then sell the Kindle version and hardcopy. (Sounds crazy, but pdfs are hard as hell to read, especially 260-something pages - people will cave and buy the kindle format or hardcopy)

      3. Another idea is to look into a local book dealer (Barnes & Nobles, Borders, etc) and see about doing a reading and/or signing and/or discounted sale on the book.

      4. Send the book to Book of the Month Clubs.

      All I can think of for now.
