ShoeMoneyHomeJobs sales copy

Has anybody gone through the ShoeMoneyHomeJobs.com sales copy? I'm curious about people's opinion about these types of tactics that are used:

1. The fake countdown timer (I wouldn't use it myself, but is this still commonly used out of CPA networks promoting the mass-market bizops?
2. The "post links" "post ads" terminology.
3. Also, when I read it it looks to me like he's trying to make it look like the customer will make $15 for each ad they post - and even has a table with #Ads Posted vs. Money Earned.

I'm mostly curious about people's impressions of that 3rd point there.

    These tactics seem to work on mostly the very green novices. They become a pipeline for upsales.

    I never followed him either but isn't he the guy that faked some Adsense checks years ago? Maybe I am mistaken but I thought it was him.

      Wait a minute, why do you say he faked those checks?

        I don't know about what the "Shoe Man" has been doing lately BUT...a few yrs ago one of his "Promotion Programs" made me a nice chunk o change.

        Here's what he did (in his hometown of Lincoln, NE);

        Got a dentist to agree to provide FREE Teeth Whitenings to NEW Patients (then it was a $400 Value).... however...the New Patient had to pay the "New Patient Fee" of $185. Which included X-Rays, Cleaning and Consultation.

        "Shoeman's" cut was $85 per new patient (Dentist got $100)

        Shoe ran ads on "My Space" and sent postcards to "New Movers" offering the "Free Teeth Whitening"...with result being he was bringing dentist about 10 new patients a week...for many weeks.

        The way he kept track was to have prospects "Sign In" at a Special WebPage....off the main site.

        Ingenious!

        Also....he got Lincoln's largest Car Dealer to agree to have him place a Special Red Phone in the dealership and....whenever the phone rang... Shoe got $15.

        Shoe ran ads on My Space and other places appealing to "No Credit" people to phone and see whether they qualified for a loan.

        At least 100 calls a WEEK!

        So....these and...the fact that he has one of the highest Member Followings and high Alexa Rating....cause me to wonder if you're talking about the same "ShoeMaker".
