So I just finished my site and wanted to know when can I put that copyright 2008 at the bottom of my page? is there any procedure i have to follow before I do?

    Nothing much to do. The page is considered copyrighted as soon as you publish it. If you'd like, the proper format (last I checked) to let people know the page is copyrighted is...
