Here's a rare classic ad by Ted Nicholas for one of his very first products.

This actually led Ted to start "The Company Corporation" which grew to become the largest incorporating company in the world.

Ted is a MASTER copywriter ... and this classic ad is a great additional to your personal advertising copy swipe file.

Download it here for free (no sign-up or opt-in needed)

Actually I have 3 other copy samples by Ted Nicholas - all with different "hooks" - selling this same book.

Many of the various versions of Ted Nicholas' famous ad I have (did a recount and I actually have 7 versions) each ran for many months.

However, I don't know which of the ads pulled the best.

Guess we'll have to ask Ted

I was watching a seminar video of him recently...

If I recall, I think "Only Way Left for the Little Guy to Get Rich" and "The Ultimate Tax Shelter" were two of his more successful headlines.

The Ted Nicholas Letter has been a Bible to me. I've devoured everything I could find on copywriting over the years but if I had to choose only one reference guide it would be "The Ted Nicholas Letter."

There's some great before and after ads in there (If I get some time maybe I'll scan a few and share em). Ted's insights into what people want are amazing.

Ted actually used "ultimate tax shelter" headline in a few different ads & formats.

I'll post one of the early "advertorial" ones here later this week.

      Stay tuned!

This is one of the many reasons I try not to critique other's copy in this forum. We all know Mr Nicholas is a genius who has sold a billion dollars worth of product in his lifetime. Yet if a fledgling copywriter posted the following on this forum:

"You may have considered incorporating. Accomplish this in the most economical way. You may already be in business and are looking for ways to save tax dollars or limit personal liability.
You can benefit from this book if you are planning a one man business if you are associated with a partner or are the owner of any company.
This exciting book shows you step by step how you can accomplish this for less than $50. It contains tear out forms for everything that is needed!
This includes minutes, by laws, and the actual certificate of incorporation!
It is presented in simple, clear language.
You'll learn of the many benefits of incorporating an existing business or one that is planned."

I really would be hard pressed to see the genius here...and have little doubt that a few people could in fact offer a harsh criticism on the piece.

Yet this piece sold millions, right?

So I keep my head down for the most part, LOL....copy like this shows how much I still have to learn about copy
