My friend needs help with his website, he needs to improve conversions, does anyone have any ideas?

Hey Indolesman,

I think it's great that your friend is taking the initiative and starting a business like this, overall the site looks good.

As far as the layout, I would definitely explain exactly HOW Kamagara can benefit the user SOONER. I spent about 50 seconds on the site, and still didn't have an idea of how the product would benefit me. Keep in mind, the only thing your user wants to know, in the end, is, "What's in it for me?".

I would use a headline that grabs the attention of the people who would benefit from it. Tell them how it will help them in a helpful and powerful way, as fast as you can.

The whole site just assumes that your end-user knows what Kamagara is, and is already looking for it, which in most cases, probably won't be true.

  I would suggest better headlines as well. There's nothing better than a good headline to snatch the attention of readers. If your lead is boring, what's the reader expecting the rest of the content to be? Yes....BORING!

Overall the presentation is weak. The site does have some eye appeal but to me the flash stuff up top is distracting.

If you don't know what Kamagra is you're SOL. I didn't know what is was so I did a search and ended up on a site that explained it right up front. If I were in the market for the stuff I would have bought it there because they've taken the time to consider my ignorance with something relatively new.

Lately I've seen way too many sites that apparently think people are psychic. I say this because no one seems to want to take the time to explain what they're selling. I guess they just assume everyone already has all the info they need and have just stopped by to make a purchase.

Not going to happen. Especially with something like Kamagra. I'd guess most people searching would know, but some won't know much. With a new or unusual product the page absolutely needs to blend education with selling.

What type of customers are you looking to attract and convert? What do you know about your potential customers? Start there and build you site for them.
Lots of good advice here - try one thing - measure it and see if it works. If it doesn't, tweet it or scrap it and try something else.

  If you were challenging me with improving this website, the first thing I would do is:
  
  1. A thorough review of your direct Kamagra competitors. Pay close attention to "above the fold." And their checkout process. As well as their item "catalog copy."
  
  2. Then I'd review the websites of those competitors offering a similar result. The bigger players as well as other generic equivalents. See how they are positioning their product.
  
  3. The next thing I would do implement multi-variable testing and ClickTale. Find out when and where they are abandoning.
  
  4. Implement an exit survey and find out, in their words, why they didn't buy.

I am not too sure about the niche, you know, what people would like and stuff, but 1 thing that works almost everytime in every niche is....

Using Video

Record a simple powerpoint with a friendly voiceover. It gives a very professional as well as personal feeling to the visitor.
