anyone heard of this guy?

hey,

i just got an email from some dude in australia.
he found one of my offers on clickbank and is
"certain he can increase my conversions."

that's probably true; i did the sales letter myself
and i'm no world-class copywriter. but i've never
heard of the guy and i wondered if any of you guys
have?

he claims to have helped other clickbank vendors
get to gravity of 400+. his name is josiah humphrey.

anybody know of this guy? can anyone vouch for his work?

If he is so certain, here's what you tell him. It's very simple:
        1. If he is so certain he can improve your conversions, tell him to rent a domain and put up his page and send people to your ClickBank hoplink order form.

        2. Then tell him to drive his own traffic to it via AdWords just to test. 100 to 200 clicks is all he needs to test and prove. So it's a couple hundred bucks probably. Maybe three hundred bucks on the high end. If you want to pay for the test, I'm sure it would be acknowledged. He puts up his time? You put a little money for traffic.

        3. Now at this point, assuming he's successful, you want to know how he's converting the traffic into buyers, don't you? You can see metrics and results and sales. Keep in mind, he's being compensated now and so are you while this is all going on.
But wouldn't you like to know? Wouldn't you pay to see his page? Just for five minutes?

And that is when he has YOU over a barrel.

And you'll pay through the nose because he's beat your control. Legitimately. And you'll be VERY happy, even though you've paid a premium to get his copy. Because now you have something you know works across the board and can leverage across multiple affiliates.

And if you say "No, not interested,"? Now his only mission is how cheap can he get his traffic to his page and ultimately to your CB order form.

And you still win, and he'll still win.

But here's the best part: Now that he's proved himself? Your collaboration together will make you even more money.

That's when it gets really good. Because now you have trust and confidence in his abilities.

PS: This is how good copywriters, copywriters that can convert, can literally generate money on demand online.

Think about it this way: EVERY piece of content and product on ClickBank is PLR--Private Label Rights. Pick a market. Pick a product. Access is FREE.

The only question is whether YOU can market, write copy and sell.

If you can, you're home free. If you can't? Well... I don't know what to tell you.

In other words, you don't have to use the CB seller's pitch page.

The person who provides the content will win. You'll win. The customer will win. And ClickBank will win. As well as the merchant banks.

If a copywriter has the goods? He's home free.

Go Aussies! Might only be 20 million people in a country the size of the US, but we always punch above our weight. (You can also see this in the Olympic medal tally)

P.S. I'm seriously interested in anyone who can get a clickbank product over 400 myself

What I heard (from one of Josiah's cubs) is that Josiah himself doesn't do much (if any) of the writing.

So how good "his" work is will depend on the skill of the copy cub doing it (who will generally make a few hundred bucks a letter).

Things might have changed since one of his cubs told me all this, but it wasn't that long ago so I would assume it's unlikely.

Always looking for badass direct-response copywriters. PM me if we don't know each other and you're looking for work.

    Hi Daniel,

Just to clarify. I have two services. One where clients hire a cub and get a $297 letter and one where I write the highend letters.

There's only one problem with this (very good) idea Rick...

How does either party know how much preselling is being done? If the vendor is getting 2% conversions, how does the copywriter know that's from cold or warm traffic for sure?

And even if he finds out, how does the copywriter prove that his sales funnel is the same as the vendors?

If the vendor is cold selling at 2%, then the copywriter shows his 10% conversions, how can the vendor be sure he's not sending his leads through a complex, long winded email campaign first?

It can still be done, but you'd need to trust that both parties are going off cold traffic conversions, from similar traffic sources, to get a fair comparison.

Although having said that, if you approach a vendor and say, "hey, I've written a different sales page and a 25 email follow up sequence and I'm converting your offer at 5% higher than you, wanna buy a license to my copy?" .... I'm sure you'd get a positive response

Having that question in mind - if anybody knows somebody, why would internet marketers seem to prefer writers or any professional from a different side of the world? I mean why not hire somebody within your area so you can check whether that person is real or not. Aside from the overhead expenses or anything related to that, what else benefits IM hiring someone he don't even know?

Seriously, you have to make sure the person you're dealing with isn't just an incorporeal figment of your imagination. Or a ghost.

Because many times writers in other parts of the world offer a bang for your buck! Local writers might be much more costly than "from a different side of the world"

It's rare for a copywriter whose first language isn't English to produce an effective sales piece for the English-speaking markets (U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand). Even if he knows the language perfectly, he also needs to understand the culture.

Heck, it's tough enough for a U.S. copywriter to write a good ad for Great Britain or Australia!
