How I Took a Dating Guru's Copy From Under 1% Conv. to 5.9%

I apologize if this is blatant self-promotion or anything, but as I figure I'm not selling anything, should be ok.

I recently rewrote copy for a pretty well-known dating/attraction coach and made a couple videos detailing what I thought were weak points in his copy, and then showing how I improved his conversions in my re-write.

Not a professional copywriter nor do I claim to be, but I definitely was able to give him a big boost. Kind of the cool thing about using some of these tactics - you can mess up so much, and still clean up . . .

    Hey Chris,

    Just watched video 1 and some good tips there...especially about the header.

    Ever been to the Digitalpoint forum affiliates section? It always amuses me to see them getting excited about a sales letter they think will convert well purely because it has a fancy header!

    Anyway, I'll get back to the videos, I'm writing a dating letter now so it's good to get other points of view. Thanks!

    Hey guys, I really appreciate everyone's feedback. Means a lot . . . I finished up a second project that went live a few days ago. Tracking has been static-y, likely due in part to her affiliates all checking out the new copy (and possibly ClickBank acting up. Like that would be a surprise to anyone lol).

    Anyway, hopefully I'll have some concrete numbers on it, soon. Even with the static, was still a good improvement. I also think it's a stronger piece of copy, but perhaps it's just because I felt more comfortable writing for "our" market.

    Oh and Brian, I replied to your comment on my blog. In case you don't see it, I'll copy it here . . .

    And yeah, Sean gets threatened with legal action from Reese, and I end up with a new client. Think I might've gotten the better end of that deal, that's all I'm saying . . .

        Great examples and kind of a "check list" of the stuff to keep in mind when writing copy.

    Thanks again, guys - glad to know that you got such value out of it. As far as another video goes, we'll see. Maybe I'll round up the numbers on the piece of copy I wrote after this one.

    Don't wanna give away the one I just did - pretty lucrative niche with no affiliate competition, so might just want to hold onto that one myself, and run a little "Google Cash" method.

    Anyway, we'll see what I can come up with . . . In the meantime, thanks again!
