Copywriting vs. Keywords: Can they fit together?

Hello fellow Warriors,

I've developed a few sites around copywriting (sales pages, newsletters, ect.) and others around keywords (niches, short vs. long tail) - and yet I cannot seem to merge the two properly.

Would anyone happen to have a great resource on combining the two? How I can optimize my site, while retaining quality content? I'de love some input on the matter, thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Kris

    Hi,

You can optimize your sites by adding some popular keywords and phrases to the content. See, any site needs to have those keywords in its content which people normally type in search engine. This is the only way through which you can come in top results in search engines. You can hire a professional SEO expert to help you in this. He will tell you the right keywords and the correct places to use them.

    Thanks for the advice Jayden,

I am aware of the many ranking factors, and how to SEO a site - my problem seems to be finding the balance between keywords and copy.

I full well understand the power of keywords - but I cannot deny the power of copy, as we capture emails - convert sales and more.

Has anyone run into a similar - "challenge" before? And were you able to find the balance you wanted?

    Cheers,
    Kris

Thanks for the advice Loren - that was one of my main concerns, the title and desc meta tags.

In addition I've found the best way so far to combine them, is to grab 2 or 3 keywords that I plan to optimize, and use them at least once in every paragraph and once or twice in the footer. It seems to work well so far, and it doesn't destroy my copy - but I knew the title and desc had a bit more weight - and my copy titles/descriptions tend to have the best pull.

    Thanks again, and cheers,
    Kris
