How to save your work

Few days ago, my friend's house as robbed and they took everything including his laptop. Not just any laptop but the laptop in which he had been saving all of his work and ideas. Everything was gone. What's worse, they even took the external USB in which he had backed up his document. This made me realize that how easy it is for someone to take away all of my hard work.

So, I did some research and found a great thing called Google documents. This feature that comes with gmail account allows you to save your document files online and you can access them from any computer in the world. I have now uploaded all the precious documents on this software and I think you should do the same too.

    Google Docs is good...

However, when it comes to MY files I like to keep them off the Internet, just don't trust everything.

Just encrypt and password protect them before uploading. Then even if by some odd chance someone gets ahold of them they will be worthless.

You can also try Scribd, a site in which you can upload your written MS documents online without the hassles of saving it on your hard drive.
