Experienced Copywriter Recommendation Needed - Men's Dating Niche

Hi,

I've been reading these forums long before I joined and have found the information here invaluable.

Hopefully I can find some more help now as well.

I am looking for a proven copywriter experienced in the men's dating niche and would really appreciate any advice on who the best person for the job would be.

I know there are a number of really good copywriters on this forum also, so feel free to get in touch as well.

Product:
13 Week Online Study Course for a sub-market within the Men's Dating Niche
Very extensive and comprehensive product. Collectively taken about 32 months to produce all the components. Some features include multiple videos and a ground breaking online forum experience.

Project:
Large JV launch with many of the biggest names in the niche involved.
Auto-responder email sequence needed to create "buzz" and anticipation during the 12 day pre-launch
High converting sales letter and landing page needed
High converting sales video script/outline needed and assistance with optimisation of pre-launch content

Timescale:
Tight but manageable depending on current commitments. Pre-launch is 27th October and Launch is 7th November.

Budget:
Now I know there is often controversy with commission based projects in the copywriting world, but please bare with me.

Many good and renown copywriters have taken on commission only jobs if it is the right project. I know Alex Cohen is a pretty well respected copywriter and did a percentage of sale only partnership about a year ago, so it can work under the right circumstances.

The biggest issue is risk right?

Is a talented copywriter willing to take on the risk of commission only when so many factors other than effective copy affect the bottom line sales?

Before I answer that, indulge my vision for just a little longer.

This launch is not a standalone launch for a product and a one-time payout. It is not a get rich quick project. I am building a sustainable business, and this launch is the start of what we anticipate will be a 6 maybe 7 figure business.

Within the long term business model there will many more copywriting projects as we serialise the content from this product to make multiple other products, seminars, ebooks, DVD's, coaching programmes etc etc.

I am looking for a partnership.

A copywriter that me and my partners can enter into a long term mutually beneficial relationship with.

So back to the risk.

If I am asking you to take the risk of commission only, as partners it's only healthy for the relationship that my partners and I take a similar or greater risk right?

Well, developing the software for the online forum took 18 months.

Creating the content for this course has taken the better part of 14 months. The content has been reworked and rewritten countless amount of times so that it can deliver the very best value to the clients.

We have tested and probed the market to uncover this niche and create a product that the market is screaming out for. And because of this my partners and I have already invested countless hours of our time, effort and opportunity cost (we all have other businesses), to create something that we know has the potential to be highly successful.

I have personally been working 18hour days for the last month on this project alone.

So all that being said the compensation to the copywriter would be 10% Commission of Gross Sales. I know some commission is based on net profit, which I think is ridiculous as my ability to manage my expenses and costs should have no impact on your compensation.

I am aware that a good copywriter can charge between $10k-$20k for the above work but based on a 10% of Gross the copywriter can potentially make $50k from this project.

So there you have my (lengthy) request. Thanks for taking the time to read it and if you could recommend anyone you feel that would be suitable for such a project please get in touch.

Additionally any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best

Shouldn't take long. Since you can't PM anyone, or receive PM's.

I've been receiving pm's but can't reply to them. Telling me I need 50+ posts. I've had to cut and paste the email addresses out and respond manually.

                Cam Connor,

Listen mate, I haven't got long - I'm just about to head out for a booty call, but I wanted to stop by and give you a heads up.

My launch and my business are the best. I have put thousands and thousands of hours in to becoming an Internet Marketing Money Making Machine Uber Guru. Now I am he.

I read your sarcasm and wit, and we're really very similar.

In YOU I see a kindred spirit.

Listen, my proposal isn't for everybody; hell, if I gave this opportunity to every copywriter who asked for it, you're right I'd be a billionaire. I'm not in it for that. I'm in it to make sure guys like us are taken care of.

So guy's like us share the pot of gold.

My team have looked through YOUR posts, and we think you have what it takes to be part of our exclusive group.

As I type this, I'm flanked by two tiny Thai girls. Sisters, in fact. I'm on a Sun Seeker Yacht. Sipping a Mojito. I know it seems hard to believe, but I am. That's how all my copywriter crew roll.

                You could be in it.

My projects are invitation only; and YOU, Cam Connor, YOU, have an invitation.

Yes it's risky, but so so worth it.

If your interested, PM me your number. One of my team WILL be in touch.

Don let yourself down by passing on this opportunity.

                KyzarSCT (+2 Thai sisters)

I knew I was smelling some horse dung with your posts.

If your so well off, you could pay a straight fee to a good copywriter.

But, of course, you will give us another song and dance on that...we can smell a problem just like most people who've been in the business world.

ACTUALLY, If you do the math, based on ONLY a 10% commission, the Copywriter could be EASILY Grossing $100,000,000, and all the software has to do is Gross $1 Billion... It took you 18 months to make it, and since you did "market research" that won't be a problem...

    Where does one sign up?

    Just a heads up...

Most of the copywriters I know who work on commission (myself included) always have a "kill fee".

Sure, it's only a few grand...

But it helps make sure the client has some skin in the game.

To other copywriters thinking about doing something like this... make sure you think it over real carefully.

In my experience... the guys who do want a killer partner are happy to pay at least some cash up front.

After all, if you're so convinced your project will make tons... a few grand is a drop in the ocean.

You don't ask a girl you've been dating one week to marry you... you need to get to know her first.

And a business partnership is absolutely the same deal (though generally with less sex involved).

Being that I'm trying to steer my business more toward partnerships these days... I actually talked to a guy on the WF about doing a similar thing in a different niche.

We spent hours on the phone feeling each other out... then after the deal was "closed, he was suddenly gone, never to be heard from by me again...

Though he IS still active on the forums.

I chalked it up to experience...

But thank god I only spent a few hours on the phone as opposed to 40+ hours putting together the copy!

Sometimes it's easy to get greedy and fall for stuff like this...

But my advice is that if people REALLY want good talent, they'll pay for it... just like in the rest of the world.
