Would You Give Away ALL Your Hard-Earned Money?

I have been reading biographies of great people of the last century. Some fascinating facts have emerged.
Consider this:
1. Andrew Carnegie.
Quote: ''Carnegie died on 11 August 1919 in Lenox, Massachusetts of bronchial pneumonia. He had already given away $350,695,653 (approximately $4.3 billion, adjusted to 2005 figures) of his wealth. At his death, his last $30,000,000 was given to foundations, charities, and to pensioners.''

2.
John D. Rockefeller.

Quote: ''From his very first paycheck, Rockefeller tithed ten percent of his earnings to his church.

Rockefeller gave $80 million to the University of Chicago under William Rainey Harper, turning a small Baptist college into a world-class institution by 1900.

In total Rockefeller donated about $550 million.''

I am wondering ...how many copywriters would give away all their money. And why would you do so.
