This is something I just found - not for you experienced copywriters, but probably a real eye-opener for newbies, beginners, or copywriters with moderate experience

We We Calculator - measure your copy for customer focus

You can see my results on an optin page I entered, sorry I did NOT include the URL for you to look at too...

"These are the Customer Focus Calculator results: For the url:
Your Customer Focus Rate: 100.00% (6 customer-focused words)
Your Self Focus Rate: 0.00% (0 self-focused words, and 0 mentions of the Company Name)
You speak about your customers about 1,000 times as often as you speak about yourself. Excellent!
Amount of Content submitted: 6.5k
Persuasive Copy to be analyzed: 1.5k
Free WeWe Analysis performed on: 147 word"

    Hi Justin,

I agree--this is a fun little tool I tell people to use to see just how me-focused their copy currently is. They're usually quite shocked at the answer!

I referred to that tool in a book I wrote about 6 years ago and the
site owner called me threatening to sue me for plagiarism, even
though I indicated the URL for the tool.

You may get a call as well.

lol neat site but I think it is really focused at men.. because of this line
" Did you know that readers of our blog, ...., have a bigger-than-average Wewe?" Just saying.

This tool rocks as it predicts whether your copy is customer oriented or not.

    Hmm, really funny!

I also knew of that tool long ago, but I think there's no need of take it too seriously.

Good copy is not just about having more You's than I's. Sometimes every thing you say using an "I" could be a benefit to the reader in one way or the other.
