Prepared to Spill Confidential Information?

Time is a scarce resource. Indeed, the better you use it the more money you earn.

So how do you ensure every minute counts?

I would like to hear from other copywriters.

What are the tricks, tactics or tips you use to be more productive?

Do you for instance, switch off all your phones and other gizmos and work uninterrupted when you have a deadline to beat?

Do you lock yourself in a room or go to your backyard to work alone?
How do you deal with the demands for attention from family members?

Do you batch tasks? Have routines/rituals? Have you broken unproductive habits lately?

Do you outsource some duties? Delegate tasks?

Share your specific tips.

Great question and topic. As for me, I like to work in very quiet surroundings.. I am fortunate that I can make that happen on demand. Not at all a multitasker, I focus on one thing only and I won't stop until it is done. I also focus on taking care of those things that can not be delegated, and those are few. My main focus is on managing the flow and making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing. I come up with ideas, a process and flow to bring that idea to fruition, select the players, make sure everyone is accountable and assign the tasks.. then watch it all unfold.

I make sure to separate my work time from my play/relax time. I make a schedule for myself and I like to follow it strictly. I did start doing internet marketing because of the freedom, but if I want to take a break I usually make myself finish one more task.

I have noticed that most of the people that I have gotten a chance to work with don't like to listen to music while "grinding." I love it. You'll catch me with my headphones blaring all types of music. I use pandora so playlists are automatically built and the most I can be distracted is a next button. It's funny, sometimes I'll be writing and It's like I blackout. I feel like the music makes me zone out into the work. When I read what I write though, I love it. But again, that's just me. Many, many people say that music is not their preference when working.

Pleasuring yourself while driving?! That is not the kind of confidential information the OP is seeking.
