Hi there,

I am keen to hear your thoughts on the copy and layout of Fresh Zeal - Webdesign, and other stuff - don't worry about being blunt, the more help the better!

Cheers

I like it. It's easy to navigate and clean. But you should make the text on the right( the box) bigger. it's hard to read.

It looks like a site for lime marmalade. In other words - you're trying too hard.

And this just tells me you're either desperate for work or new at this -
All of our work comes with a "Charge Free Guarantee" meaning if you don't want to use our work, then you don't need to pay a cent to us!
You seriously want to work for nothing? Is that the value you put on your work? That needs to go.

You also need to take "Free Quote" out the back paddock and shoot it. Between the eyes. You are not a plumber or carpet-layer - you are a professional. Do you see a Doctor or Lawyer advertising "Free Quote"?

Just for fun I clicked on the tiny font "copywriting" and was brought to this -
We are a team of designers, writers and Search experts, to get traffic to your site, and then get those customers to pay for your products
    1. 01. We are real people
    2. 02. We hire top designers
    3. 03. We work quickly
    1. 04. Fair prices
    2. 05. Charge free
      Guarantee
Do I have to spell it out? Bloody awful.

And here's a HUGE tip for you - see what you've written here -
I have always taken the approach that it isnt enough to just build a brand or site, it is about income and customers.
Never, ever say "customers". You're not running a fruit shop. Its "clients". And here is the definition of "client" -
    1
: one that is under the protection of another : dependent

    2
a : a person who engages the professional advice or services of another
See the difference? You look after a client - advise and protect them. A customer you just flog stuff to.

I think the user experience is pretty bad to be honest. It's really hard for me to figure out what you do, what you're offering, samples of your work, etc.

Not sure how you're driving traffic to your site. Not sure if your leads are warm or cold, or what you trying to achieve.

But in terms of the copy:

    1. It's really not direct response oriented. There's no compelling or irresistible offer.

    2. You talk way too much about yourself, and almost not at all about your prospect.

    3. There is no USP. There is nothing about your service which sets you apart from everybody else in your profession.

Now again, I'm not sure how people are finding your site, and that matters a lot. For instance, you may be trying to get people to buy based upon your portfolio.

    But that's what I notice.

Hi! I am a web designer and I need 100 websites done for my prospect clients in the next six months. do I still benefit from that "Charge Free Guarantee" meaning if they don't want to use YOUR work, then they don't need to pay a cent to ME, and thus I don't have to pay you a penny ?

well, I am just kidding! I have tried that startegy a lots and it is not working! I will avoid to sell my self short in the future. but who knows? you are maybe luckier than me!
