Why does this copywriting section know much more about marketing in a whole then the "marketing" titled section like "offline marketing" and "internet marketing"

Does it just come with the territory of being a copywriter? You learn the psychology how to sell, which is the meat of marketing.

Maybe I answered my own question?

Discuss please?

P.S. I like this definition of marketing: the shortest path to a sale.

That's a lot of it. But since all business comes down to ultimately selling something to somebody else. And to be a good copywriter you need to understand how every part of the sales process influences that exchange. Which branches into other aspects of marketing.

Maybe copywriters have a vested interest in communicating how much they know?

Maybe the average marketer has a good reason to keep his mouth closed?

    ...Maybe
