The Million Dollar Copywriting Question

How do you get visitors that are looking for information about a product to convert into buyers?

I get a lot of traffic each day that is looking for information about a type of product, but I'm having trouble getting them to buy any brands.

If you are getting a decent traffic related to product the best thing will be to drive people to a Squeeze page and give them a report / free book related to the product. And capture their email + name in return.

Then develop a relation with them keep sending them useful info related to the product / genre .. and keep inserting sales letter every now and then ..

Hard selling on the face might not be a good idea...

Also you might have noticed that Squeeze Pages are a mix of Art + Science... Even if you are offering a FREE Report / Book / Etc related to something that the user is actually searching. Not all will go for it.

SO the Squeeze page needs to be COPY WRITTEN and not just a signup page if you want good conversions / signups.

      few good examples

Glad you found the info useful all the best

if you are getting some decent traffic, the more time you are going to spend learning about it , you are losing money to be honest.

JV with someone for sometime -till you get to learn the ropes of this business.

    But ALWAYS BE COLLECTING EMAILS!

How does one take someone who's merely 'interested' in something and get them to reach for their money with rabid enthusiasm? That is the Million-Dollar Question indeed! Serious copywriters have devoted their life to that riddle since the first time something was advertised.

Without more specifics, the question defies simple answer. But first, remember that the copy is only one part of the sales equation.

Start with the basics. Is the product exactly tailored for this 'interested' audience? Is the price right? Are there hidden objections that are keeping people from ordering? (Maybe they aren't familiar enough with this type of product? Maybe it comes in too big or too small of a quantity? Maybe your order processing isn't easy to use etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.)

Then look at your copy. Do you build trust in the reader? Does the copy make a compelling argument for why this product benefits them? Do you clearly state what they're getting for their money? Do you address why they might object to ordering?

It's a dauntingly complex array of factors. And one small thing can really make a big difference in your results. But if you chip away at it, learn from the best, and you're willing to keep trying different things, you could very well find the magic combination.
