First ever bookalog (historic piece for your swipe file)!

Hey All,

I have a question to ask. But first as promised, here's the FIRST EVER (as far as I've been told) bookalog...

http://colmodwyer.com/The_Plague_Of_The_Black_Debt.pdf

Written in 1993 by Lee Euler, the package bought in more than 100,000 names and helped launch the struggling Agora Inc financial division into the behemoth it is today! So it's not just a copywriting "relic," it's also an example of amazing copy and belongs in your swipe file.

...Speaking of swipe files, I know this topic has been covered before, but I wonder if technology has provided an adequate solution now... Anyone got any good tips on swipe file organizing?

I still feel like "tagging" as you would a blog post is the way to go, but I've yet to find a simple program that does this for PDF files offline... that also keeps the tags if I were to put the files on a CD/hard drive and then try to search them on a different computer.

Any Mac users know if the Mac OS can search file properties/metadata? Windows 7 doesn't appear to do it easily.

Cheers,
Colm

*** UPDATE ***

Mike Humphreys actually pointed out bookalogs have been around for at least 100 years!
