Test results...

what you get back from your market after sweating out
"what should work", "what might work" and
"let's throw in a wildcard" to see what happens.

Here's the fun part, somebody else has spent their money
to find out what works...and came back with the split test results.

They are all here, to do what you want with...

Hey I picked the winner, but the only way to know for sure is by testing.

Ha! probably 30% skill and 70% luck. I've taken plenty of these kinds of tests and have been wrong as least as many times as I've been right.

As you know, the surest way to the poor house is to go with what you think will work and never test. Sometimes it seems logical why a headline or image is working, other times it's a complete mystery why one image works better than another. Only your market can tell you what works best by the results.

With Facebook and POF ads, the graphic is the most important element by far.

It's what does or doesn't catch the eye.

Always test at least 4 images and 2 ads (8 combinations), more if you can.

Why are most men look creepy in there except # 5? But then he doesn't look rich at all.

    # 1 is ok, except he doesn't look natural.

Sorry, it just screams as "another bs".

No offence please, I am really trying to help.

I picked the winner because I thought he fit the "rich guy" look the best.

The woman probably got a high clich-thru because 1) like the results said, it's different from the rest of the images, and 2) ads targeting a certain sex tend to do better when a person of that sex is pictured.

Though in this instance, it's kind of odd. But maybe the women who clicked on the ad with the woman thought that would be the result of dating a rich man -- hanging out on an exotic beach, showing off your new boob job. (Not saying the woman in the pic has had a boob job -- she's just, uhh... a well-rounded woman.)

I was choosing between the winner and the girl and finally chose the winner.

    My logic was ...

The background which made the difference. The winner stands out like a sore thumb on a white page. I was debating with myself about the girl pic since they always attract more attention (with all genders), then decided against it.

The winner fits the bill more than the others. He appears more consistent in the ad copy. It looks like he's scratching his shoulder though.

All that said and done ... It was a bloody fluke!
