COPY WRITING

Hi there, anyone know who does professional sales videos for sales pages.

The ones where the text is spelled out as the voiceover is speaking, maybe throw in some graphs and graphics etc...

If you have a Mac, iMovie can do this for you easily. It's easy to setup a script and read it on-screen... and just adjust the text fade in and out to go with your voice.

Not sure if you have a PC, as most of the PC programs are more confusing and aren't as drag & drop.

also make sure to check out fiverr, they have a lot of people who do professional voice overs. They have people that make videos too, usually just short professional intro videos though.

you can get voice done and then add video/graphics with FinalCut. we do it like this and they come out nice

Please DON'T put every word said on the screen as it is being said.

Put bullet points up. Summary phrases.

"Live transcriptions" quickly get horrifically boring.

Yeah, get a typography style video it really hits the message home about your service/product because of the impact that these words can have when seen visually with a VoiceOver.

  I would try and limit the kinetic type movement to the intro. These are pretty cool videos, but for sales videos they are kind of busy to me. Stick to REAL content where YOU or your PRODUCT can be the focal point.
  
  My honest opinion is that being professional has MUCH more credibility long term in your videos, than having splashy effects.
  
  That said, you can even create your own 10-15 second intro in Camtasia or Screenflow, similar to the one I made here:

You can do some pretty neat stuff with Powerpoint too, kindof a junior Aftereffects. All AE guys will blow a gasket when you tell them you want 15 minutes of kinetic typeography.
