Critique New Products Page for RSS and Marketing Services

Hi everyone, I'm Brian owner of Blog Engage. I just finished a new RSS and Marketing Services Products Page and was hoping you could have a look and give some feedback. I'm open to suggestions or ideas overall I'm just looking for some feedback you all know it's a little hard when you sit in front of something for four hours and can't see things that could have improvement.

I started this service in May of 2011 part time working evenings and now I'm doing it for a living full time as of February first.

Love to hear some feedback,

Cheers,

Brian

    Hi, Brian.

Very nice site. I may consider your service, but I'll need to sit and read the sales page a bit more closely when I have more time.

The first thing I'd say is that you may have too much text above the fold. What about putting that scrolling window at the top? Or better yet, can you make a short video that walks people through what the site is for and how to use it? Something that states the problems people face of getting traffic and how your site is the solution.

I would also put the pricing on a separate page -- or at least an anchor to it from the top of the page. Although the direct to front page plan clearly has more than the gold plan, I personally like when I can compare features directly... meaning that there would be "X"s in the gold column showing that it doesn't have whichever feature in question.

Then I would also put the free alternative near the top of the pricing page (assuming you do it as a separate page). And instead of saying the thing about not having the money, I'd say something more along the lines of "Get It Free".

You may want to go to other sites that have something similar as far as pricing structure, ways to get the service free etc. IMAutomator and WordPress Direct come to mind.

    Hope you find this helpful.

Ok note taken, I will re look at the top of the page and remove text that is not needed.

I like the small blurb about the $9.99 account, perhaps it's the featured stuff I don't need because it's also on the package section below. I just don't know what to cut it's so hard... this is why it took my two extra years to get out of High School LOL

Pricing on a different page is an interesting concept. I find because my packages vary in features and price it's nice to have them side by side when comparing and choosing. So much stuff it could get hard remembering what was or wasn't included.

I have looked at the other site thanks for the suggestions it's always nice to get other perspective and to gather Intel. I really appreciate it, thanks Ahew.

Did you change something since earlier today? Either way, I think this is much easier to take in now. How do people usually come to this page? Would they be at the home page and then click through to this page? I guess what I'm trying to figure out is will they already understand the power of your service by the time they get here? You could do a promotional video and feature it on this page, if they don't.

Looks like a cool service. I think I mentioned that before.

    All the best,
    Adrienne
