COPY WRITING

A small example, but a good one.

Saw this on a news organization's squeeze page:

Receive <name of columnist> daily column in your email

BONUS: By signing up for <name of columnist> alerts, you will also be signed up for news and special offers from <news organization> via email.

Tried and true technique. Present a flaw as a benefit.
